"Hey gurll" Thalia grinned as Riley walked into her bedroom. It was 6:15 and the girls were about to start getting ready for the party.

"Hii, I bought makeup and an outfit" Riley grinned before chucking it all carelessly onto the floor.

"Great! Well let's get ready first then you can help me choose a dress" Thalia said as she unraveled the wires from her curling iron and placed it on the desk to warm up.

The two friends retrieved some fizzy drinks and cookies from the kitchen before returning to Thalia's room.

"What look are you wanting for tonight?" Thalia asked.

"I dunno, you're the party expert!" Riley giggles while taking a seat in the chair.

"I'm gonna make you look so hot, everyone will drool over you" Thalia said as she began dabbing foundation over Riley's mostly clear skin.

All the negative words such as 'hoe' and 'slut' crossed Riley's mind. They're words she once got called frequently.

She hadn't even had a boyfriend before though.

Either way she sat still as Thalia finished her makeup and began curling her hair.

"Alll done!" Thalia grinned while placing the curling iron down and allowing Riley to look into the mirror.

Her cheeks were highlighted with a golden glow, her pink lips had a glossy effect, and her eyeshadow was the perfect blend of rose pink and subtle gold.

"wow, I've never looked so good" Riley smiled genuinely while checking herself out.

"Your hair looks so cute curled, why don't you style it more?"

"I dunno, I can't be bothered" Riley laughed slightly, not wanting to sound uncool for not owning any hair styling products.

The makeup she was wearing wasn't even hers, it was actually a bag she found in her moms room 10 minutes before leaving the house.

"I'm not great at makeup but I'll try!" Riley replies as Thalia asked her to get started.

She patted on powder before getting started on her dark eyebrows. After applying some pinkish blush she carefully applied some matte lipstick.

"I look amazing!" Thalia smiled while checking herself out in the reflective mirror. Riley was surprised she could even do a winged eyeliner.

"Help me find a dress" Thalia excitedly jumped to her feet and slung open the doors to her messy wardrobe.

After about a minute there were several clothing pieces lay out on the bed.

"Which ones best?" Thalia questioned Riley, who was admiring each piece.

Although she wouldn't ever admit it to her friend, one of the dresses looked way too short. Another had a big v-neck.

"I quite like this one" she answered, while holding up a white coat hanger which a black silky dress hung on.

"Okay! What are you wearing?" Thalia said as she without warning began stripping off her clothes and getting Into her outfit for the night.

"Is this what all friends do?" Riley asked herself.

"I've got some black ripped denim shorts and a gold sequin top" she replied while pulling the outfit out a plastic bag.

Thalia inspected the shorts, then the top, before tossing them to the side.

"Yeah they're cute for a summers day, but you want something sexy. Here try this" she said chucking something at Riley.

She thought the outfit she had bought was cute, but obviously not.

"Uh erm okay" Riley mumbled while picking the dress up by its shoulders and inspecting it.

It was a golden piece, to match her makeup. Riley's eyes widened as she saw the slits in the side and the v-neck it had.

"At least it's not as revealing as it could have been..." Riley said to herself before beginning to get changed...

"Wow Riley you look great!" Giselle said shocked as she checked Riley out for the first time tonight. Her and Thalia had just arrived, and after a few minutes they found their friends.

"Aw thanks!i love your dress, it really compliments your blue eyes" Riley complemented back.

"Who wants a drink?" Skylar asked. Everyone nodded and the 5 of them traced their way through the house and to the drink tables.

It didn't take too long to find since the party wasn't busy yet. It was only just getting started, and of course there was a crowd gathering around the drink table.

"What's everyone having?" Riley questioned nervously. Personally she hadn't drank before, and honestly her throat was so dry from being nervous that the only appetising thing was the sprite.

"I think I'm gonna start off easy on cider" Sky said as she grabbed a can of the fruity fizz.

"That's boringgg, i was thinking of vodka and coke" Thalia giggled.

"When are we gonna do shots?" Giselle questioned.

"Shots? Can't we wait till the party's got going a bit" Riley laughed nervously. Shots probably wouldn't be a good idea this early in. Well, not at all for her.

"Yeah I agree, let's just stick to basics for now" Any said as she got to the front of the queue and began pouring drinks for everyone.

"Here, try this" Amy said handing Riley a red solo cup. She placed her lips at the rim and let the alcohol tingle on her lips before taking a sip.

Everyone laughed at the face she pulled. It was like she had just bitten into a lemon or ice cream.

"How do you drink this, it's disgusting!" Riley said still with a crippled face.

"Small sips often is the key" Giselle chuckled.

The girls all wandered through the house that was quickly filling up with people. They made it to the backyard which had disco lights dancing around on the wooden patio and music blaring from stereos.

"Let's danceee!" Someone in the group yelled before they all clambered onto the grass, being careful not to trip in their heels.

Everyone shook their bodies to the music with their drink in their hand, occasionally taking large sips till it was time for refills...
