Chapter 4

Violet's POV

After my emotional breakdown we all walked into the library looking for a specific book

" What is it called?" I asked

" You'll know when you see it" Xavier said

I started walking around andi had a sudden urge to turn around. I turned around and saw a book that was slightly glowing. I picked it up and I heard a gasp

" That's it" Dest said as she looked at it. I handed it to her since she knows more about it. She opened it

" Lets see. They have all of our powers. Werewolf, vampire, demon, seer, banshee, they even have a description of argon. Even though I'm the only one in existence"

" Maybe you wrote it in your past life. You did say you traveled back in time" Connor said

" Yea I know. Let's get back to the house" she said. Xavier tried to touch it but it shocked him for some odd reason

We checked out the book and headed outside

" Text Hunter and tell him to meet us at our house...." She told Connor as she grabbed my arm lightly

"And we'll meet you guys there" she said as we started to walk away but she stopped

" Wait give me the book"

" Why?" Connor asked

" Because if this gets in the wrong hands then it could be bad for all of us. It has to be in the hands of it's guardians which are me and and Vi"

" Wait how do you know that"

" Cause it didn't shock either of us"

" Yea but it didn't shock me either"

" Connor just give me the fucking book" she flashed her royal blue eyes

" Fine" he handed the book to her

" We'll see you guys at the house" she said and we walked away.

" Now tell me about what happened between you and Hunter"
 
" Well he knows we're mates. He wants to be with me but if he tells everyone that Avery isn't his mate then he thinks they won't trust him anymore"

" So he's more worried about his reputation than how his mate feels?"

" Basically but he's about to become alpha I mean I don't really blame him but it's still wrong"

" He gone get slapped when I see him"

" No no no there will be no violence" i chuckled

" Ugh fine"

* At the House*

We were all in the living room surrounded by Destiney since she apparently wrote the book in her past life

" Most of us here are hybrids which is fucking cool" dest mumbled and I chuckled.

"Does that mean alot of us will be blood thirsty?" Connor asked

" Kinda but I'm a witch so I can make something to reduce the blood thirst"

" Violet!!"

" Psssttt Violet!!! It's me Red. You know your wolf

Yes Red

" Hunters looking at you"

I look up and she was right. Hunter was looking at me. But I saw something in his eyes. Regret? Disappointment?

" Hunt? You okay?"  Xavier asked

He snapped out of his trance and looked at him

" Uh yea I'm fine. It's getting late. We should get going" his voice sounded soft? I'm not sure how to describe it but it wasn't his normal alpha male voice

" Alright. Uh we'll see you guys later. Bye babe" Xavier said to all of us then kissed Dest

Hunter looked sad as he walked out the door with Xavier. He should feel like that. He wants to be with a girl who isn't his mate

" Vi?" I looked at Connor

" You okay? You're crying?" I didn't realize I was till I wiped my face

I ran upstairs and closed the door. I started thinking of Hunter. I slid down the door and broke down in tears.
