Children of the Planets

Epilogue

As the Queen of Jupiter walked through her garden, looking over her kingdom, she smiled to herself. Somehow, the peaceful atmosphere of her planet at night always seemed to make her smile, and while she could never figure out a reason why, she nevertheless cherished the peace, as it was a welcome change from the life she had led so many years ago; the life full of tragedy and death. After she had been coronated, she had tried her best to put those times behind her in order to rule her kingdom to the best of her ability, and while she was not always sure that she was doing the right thing, her kingdom was flourishing, and that alone was enough to make her smile.

Well that and other things...

Almost as if by magic, a pair of arms wrapped around her, and she felt the warm presence of her husband as he kissed her cheek,
"Hello there, Taiyo", she said, turning around to face him. The King of the Sun beamed back at her,
"Hello there to you too, Moku. I missed you so much". Looking away from her face for a moment, he kneeled down in front of her and placed his hands on her stomach, "And how is our little girl doing today?".
Moku smiled and placed her hands on top of her pregnant belly,
"She's definitely getting bigger... a bigger nuisance, if that's what you mean". Her smile faltered for a moment, "Im still not sure about this. I mean, me, a parent? I can barely control myself, much less a child!"
Taiyo smiled,
"Come on, Moku. If Chikyu can be a parent, so can you".
"Hey, he's married to Suigin, remember? She's on top of things", Moku laughed, "Besides, from what Kin and Kaiou have told me, she's super protective of her little kid. She won't even let Chikyu hold her sometimes, out of fear that he'll drop her"

Taiyo laughs at her argument and places an ear on her stomach
"as for Dosei?" Moku puts a hand on his head and watches him with a small smile
"... Well I suppose... But Dosei did loose the two once!" she replies "oh my zodiac!" she exclaims putting her hands up to hide her face "what if she has your power of duplicating herself". Taiyo gets up and holds her face
"and if she has your power?" he argues with a chuckle "my hair will be standing on end... Litterally!" Moku laughs at her husbands comment before looking her in the eyes
"I kinda feel bad for poor Kari and Adi" she smiles turning slightly to look back over her kingdom "apparently Tsuki hasn't handled the first couple months as a mother very well supposedly there's been a few hurricanes over on Earth due to Luna already showing signs of magic"
"wait!... but Luna is only a couple days old?" Moku nods a chuckles,
"yeah she has a scary mixture of her Adis and Tsukis magic and as for Nomitai... She's already set Kari on fire a couple of times" she chuckles
"really?" he exclaims trying not to laugh "Yeah working with a family, ruler and a goddess is being quite tough on her. Oh! And I also heard Ten and Terra adopted" Moku raises an eyebrow and takes his hand
"Kin and Kaiou are planning on doing so too" he smiles back noticing his wife's look of disbelief
"Kinboshi wants to be a mum?" she asks with a small smirk at the thought
"mmhmm " he titters with a smile.

Years have passed since the final battle and the children have grown up. Become God's, Queens, Kings, Husbands, wives and parents. The solar system rest at peace under the rule of the children and no wars broke out throughout their command. Love, joy and respect orbit from the sun to Pluto. After a couple months of becoming Queen, Mokusei received the news that the planet she and her friends once rest their dead bodies upon was gone and mysteriously vanished.

The two parents to-be, turn to face the kingdom and silently, they admire the glowing city. The lights reflect off of their shining eyes, the couple hold each other smiling at peacefulness,
"I love you" Taiyo whispers
"I love you too" his wife replies before quietly embracing in a kiss.

... Finally the universe lays down in peace and harmony.
