Chapter 6: Full Moon

It was a warm Friday morning at Cross Academy. Luke and Zero woke up to the sunlight that crept through the blinds.

"Ugh I'm not ready to deal with anybody" he grumbled. Zero groaned along with him.

"Lets just get today over with" he sighed deeply. "Hurry up and get dressed before anyone comes in".

"Yeah yeah I heard ya" Luke got out of bed stretching. He started changing without saying anything and Zero turned around to see him almost stark naked which is nothing new.

"Could you have some modesty!" Luke face became red looking away.

"Says the guy who comes over to sleep with me and plus we've seen each other a bunch of times" he shot back.

"Whatever" Luke mumbled shyly.

They both got their uniforms on and brushed his fluffy hair. He then did the usual by racing to his room before the dorm president comes to check his room.

When he got to the room his light hazel/blue eyes met the reflection of the mirror. He never thought of himself pretty. The way his fluffy black hair that was fixed but ends up messy later. His natural pink lips and rosey cheeks that went with his tan skin.

Luke thought to himself 'I'm just an ordinary wolf guy..'. 'Wolf..' He repeated in his head. They way his eyes looked was not normal. "Shit..." he whispered. "Are you serious!"

The full moon was tonight. That's why he has been hostile towards the night class since 3 days ago.

He began to search for his calender frantically. After 3 mins he found it. Looking at today's date and next to the day shows a little circle that it's labeled for a full moon.

"Dammit!" he looked for his pills that lets him skip the transformation. He found the bottle but no pills.

Luke went to headmaster and asked to use the phone to call his grandparents.

"Um Mr.Cross if you don't mind" he didn't want anybody to know about his secret.

"Yeah no problem I'll be in my office if you need anything" kaien gave him a smile leaving down the hall.

Luke dialed the Ito's Estates number and someone picked up. "Hello? This is the Ito's Residance head butler speaking".

"Hi it's Haruhiko Luke. I was wondering if my grandmother is there" he said formally.

"L-luke-sama?! Ahem yes she is here, I'll put her on the phone" the butler's voice disappeared with a beep and her voice came through.

" Hi Luke dear what is wrong? Are you ok? Are they treating you well?" She sounded worried.

"Yes grandmother..It's about tonight..I ran out of um pills" He states.

"Oh dear me um..Just wait my dear I'll have someone drop off some for you, okay honey?" The mistress hung up after saying their goodbyes.

Luke sighed happy "I'm saved"

"Haruhiko?" a voice he loathed, Kaname was coming out of Mr.Cross's office.

"Hmph!" he needed to get out of there before he goes crazy. As he was leaving Kaname was looking at him and put his hand on Luka's shoulder before walking off. The boy stood there confused an shook it off going out.

Luka didn't go to class and went straight to his room. Soon he headed to the gates to wait for the pills.

A expensive car pulled up and a butler came out bowing to him. "Sir I came to drop these off" he hands him a box and a bag.

"Thank you..Could you send my grandmother my regards" He took the stuff and smiled at the butler.

"Certainly Luka-Sama..I bid you farewell" he soon disappeared into the foreign car.

He finally got his pills for the new moon and something else. He then went back to the dorms and sat on the bed forgetting to take his red pill after looking in the bag.

Zero was in class looking out the window spotting his lover walking to the dorms not too long ago. 'I wonder what he's up to now?'.

He shrugged it off to be stared by Yuki. Being Zero he just gave her a cold stare making a 'Tch' with his mouth.

Zero went back to his dorm after his usual duties and night was falling. He could hear howling in the distance.

"Odd there's no dogs or wolves out here" he soon shook it off.

The howling sounded near. Just then a huge dark thing jumped into his room from his window.

"W-what the hell!?" he jumped to his feet to be greeted by a big black wolf.

The wolf whined and with its hazel/blue eyes stared into Zero's lavender ones.

It was unbelievable and he was soon falling back on the bed making the wolf jump on him.

Zero knew if he tried to move it he will become food. He waited until 6 am in the morning when the wolf began to shrink.

The next thing he saw blew his mind. It transformed into Luke?! He was completely naked on top of him. The guy was astonished. He thought that werewolves were extinct but until last night and right now filled him with so many questions.

In his thoughts he heard the boy stirr up from sleeping. "Mmn~" he stretched and yawned. When he opened his eyes he wanted to scream but was silenced by Zero's hands.

"Shh" he nodded and sat up on his torso. This was not good for Zero. Luke got off and put one of his boyfriend's shirt on that covers all the way to his knees but tight at the chest.

"Y-you saw didn't you?" he looked down. Zero blush taking the fact he saw his wolf form but more importantly a tasty scene.

"I didn't mean to do anything you look good.." his blush became darker.

"No idiot..my form" he put his hand on his forehead. "Ok I'll explain everything just don't....just don't hate me".

Zero stayed quiet when he started to explain about his family being a clan of werewolves and why they made his background kept secret. He then explains that he doesn't have control of his wolf form due to the full moon. Zero wanted to know more.

"I was the next head of the Yakuza Wolf Clan, when I turned 14.." he paused his voice shook a bit then he continues,"When I turned 14 all of my clan got murdered...even my mother and father..I lost everyone" tears fell from his eyes. He wiped them away. Zero never knew he was so broken and lonely from the start.

"After the death of my clan my grandparents took me in and raised me to control my powers" Luka raised his hand turning it into a fist.

"She made me strong..and then she found out those vermins were still after me" he looked at Zero " She sent me here..I'm happy that I met you Zero even though it took me a while to get close to you" Luka giggled.

"Me too Luke..me too" Zero replied after taking all the information in.
