I let out a relieved sigh as I collapsed onto my sofa, happy to finally be home. Josh hadn't anyone he was picking me up they'd all gone out for the night, celebrating a football match.

"Rose! Food's here!" Josh yelled from the kitchen. I groaned and rolled off the sofa, dreading leaving my comforting bedroom.

I finally pushed myself off the floor and pulled my jumper over my arms. I'd managed to shower and dress when we arrived home, now dressed in a huge jumper and shorts.

I walked into the kitchen and felt my mouth water at the smell of burgers and fries.

"Oh God," I moaned as I lunged at the small pile of beige boxes and hunted out the double cheese burger and large fries I'd ordered.

"You look so sad!" Josh laughed from the kitchen island, watching me attack the boxes, his own food in his hands. I ignored him and gripped two beige boxes, both smelling like heaven compared to the mush the hospital provided.

I sat at the island, next to Josh, and ripped open the beige boxes. I didn't even take a breath before smashing the burger into my mouth and chomping down. Needless to say, the moan I made caused Josh to nearly choke on his own food.

I let out a groan as I flopped the upper part of my body over the kitchen island, filled with food.

"I told you, you ordered too much," laughed Josh, earning a glare from a very full me. Josh just laughed and started clearing away, storing the extra food on the counters for the boys when they returned.

"They'll be happy to see you, don't worry too much," said Josh as he chucked some empty boxes away. I huffed, groaned, and rolled my eyes.

"It'll make things worse between Simon and I. He won't even visit me, let alone speak to me," I muttered, and Josh turned away from the bins and raised an eyebrow.

"That boy would've killed to get to you when you turned up in the hospital. He would've done anything to see you, don't go saying he doesn't care," he said, his voice deep and serious. I sat up and sighed, running my hands through hair.

"He should've spoken to me!" I argued, for some reason trying to talk myself out of the fact Simon cared for me.

"He was scared, Rose. He'd broken your heart, you think he knew you trusted him? To him, he was walking on a thin line and anything could've tipped him over," Josh grumbled, and I stayed quiet. "He loves you, Rose, don't ever think he doesn't."

I let out a huff and leaned on the island, deciding I should listen to Josh. He was the oldest anyway.

"Now, help me surprise the guys."

I smiled widely as I heard the front door swing open, the loud chatter of the boys filling the house. I leaned closer to the floor, hidden behind a cardboard cut-out of the boys, and waited for Josh's signal.

The boys talked for a while before I heard it.

"I wish Rose was here to keep me company," Josh's voice sang, and I burst from behind the cut-out.

"Luckily, I am!" I yelled, and Vik screamed, spinning towards me. I ran forward and wrapped my arms around the short boy, hugging him tightly. Vik laughed and hugged me back, letting me bury my head in his shoulder.

"What about us!" I heard JJ yell before being crushed against Vik, the boys having squished both of us.

I squealed and managed to turn around, facing a grinning JJ.

"I'm glad you're back," he said quietly, and I smiled softly.

Finally, the boys pulled away and let Vik and I breathe.

"You're okay?" Vik asked, and I nodded, rubbing my chest slightly. I was about to speak when I noticed Ethan staring at my eyes. The scar more accurately.

"It won't fade, it's always going to be there," I mumbled, and Ethan flushed bright red, his mouth opening and closing to find a response.

"It's fine, Behz. We all have to get used to it," I told him with a small smile. He nodded and let out a shaky breath.

I turned to look at Vik when I locked eyes with a certain blond. Simon hadn't moved from the front door, his eyes glued to me.

I opened my mouth to speak but I cut off by his sudden movements towards me. I couldn't get a word out as his arms wrapped around me and lifted me into the air. I didn't say anything but wrap my own arms around his neck and cling onto him tightly.

There were no words to describe how much I loved this boy. There was nothing in the world to describe how much I hated this boy either. He'd broken my heart, but now, was he going to fix it?
