Chapter 3: Weekend Surprise.

Sauli blinked his blue eyes open slowly. The sun was shining brightly through his bedroom window. Thoughts of Mr. Lambert tickled at the back of his brain. They brought a smile to his face. He remembered the way the sexy teacher’s hand had felt on his skin yesterday and he smiled even bigger. If Mr. Lambert’s hand had felt that good on his skin, how would his lips feel?

“Breakfast is ready, Sauli!” His mom called out.

Sauli sat up in bed and glanced at the piece of paper on his bedside table. It was the note that had been placed inside his locker yesterday. He picked it up and read it again. The handwriting was a little messy but was still very readable. Who could it be from?

“Sauli! Are you coming? Your food is going to get cold.” His mom called out again.

Sauli flung his solid white blanket off of his legs and stood up. He threw on a shirt over his naked chest and groggily walked into the kitchen. His mom had made him some eggs with some toast and bacon. It looked pretty good. He sat down at the table with both his parents and ate the food quietly.

“You’re awful quiet this morning. Are you ok?” his dad asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just still a little bit tired, that’s all.” Sauli replied

“So, do you have any plans for this weekend?” His mother asked.

Sauli wasn’t for sure if he wanted to go to the park and meet the writer of his note or not. So he would just go with no for right now. “I don’t think so.”

They finished they’re breakfast and Sauli headed back to his bedroom. His mind went crazy with different scenarios of himself going to the park to meet his note writer. Should he just not go at all? It could be some of the kids from school trying to play a trick on him. Maybe it was Bryce trying to trick him. A certain thought kept coming back to him. What if it was Mr. Lambert who had wrote him the note. That was when he decided that he would definitely go to the south side park tomorrow at 1pm. He didn’t want to take any chances of missing Mr. Lambert if it was really him who wrote the note.

“Your dad and I are going to go visit Vegas this weekend. Do you want to go? We’ll be back in time for you to go to school Monday morning.” Sauli’s mom asked.

Vegas sounded like a fun place to go visit but he just couldn’t resist staying home to go to the park tomorrow because of the little chance that he might see Mr. Lambert. “No, I’ll just stay here. Vegas would be fun but I have a little bit of homework to do and I don’t want to be exhausted for school Monday.” Sauli answered.

“Oh, alright, I guess that makes sense. You can come with us next time.” She said back.

An hour later Sauli’s parents were on their way out the door heading to Vegas. Now Sauli wouldn’t have to make up any excuses to go to the park tomorrow. That fact lifted a weight off of his chest because he really didn’t like lying to his parents. He spent the rest of the day relaxing and thinking of Mr. Lambert. Sauli remembered the teacher telling him to call him Adam if he ever saw him outside of school again.

Sauli turned the light off in his bedroom and headed towards his bed to go to sleep. He didn’t want to be tired for tomorrow. As he lay down he began to think negative. What if it wasn’t Mr. Lambert who wrote the note? Actually, it was very likely that it wasn’t. Why in the world would a teacher put a note in a student’s locker? Maybe all this thinking about meeting Mr. Lambert at the park was just setting Sauli up for a let-down. The note was probably written by Bryce and his friends. Sauli fell asleep.
