The hug felt like it lasted longer then I thought. It was so nice. A nice warm tight feeling I haven't felt in a long time. I began to start feeling light headed. My feet began to lose it strength, like jelly form. I collapsed on to his shoulders with out knowing and that was it I remembered.

My eye barley open, to the sound of the heart monitor, beeping. I kept opening my eyes and then kept Shutting them. It felt like I was really tired. My breathing began to get deeper and louder. I tried to look around Instead of me getting up and getting out of breath. My eye sight was blurry so I was not able to see if anyone was here, but I can tell no one is part from me, being in the hospital, once again. I lurched my self up by holding the plastic rails on the hospital bed.

"Jessica?"

"Calum", I was able to let out my words. "what are you doing here?"

"Well you had one of your break downs, and your mum is busy but is trying to get here as fast as she can"

"A break down! but I've can't! I shouldn't! my medication is meant to help me!"

"Well that's what I got told...", Calum said as he sat down on the chair next to the bed and began to rum my hands. As Calum moves his hands from mine, doctor Green came in.

"Jessica you feeling a bit better?"

"I've just woken up really?..."

"Right, your mother should be here soon, and when you do buzz the beeper thing, because we need to have another meeting"

"Why do I have to have a meeting?"

"Because your in hospital and we need to explain fall to you what is happening to you", she said and straight away left the room. She was keeping something from me? I could tell.

"Don't worry, it will be fine!", Calum said trying to put a fake smile on.

"I'm scared", I say with out thinking.

"Don't be! your are fine, like you said it's the medication kicking in Miss Jessica Erin Smith". He hasn't called me that in a while.

"Do you feel hungry at all?", Calum asked me to break the silence.

"A glass of water would be nice?"

"Okay, I will be right back!", Calum said as he got up and walked through the door. It went so quiet. Too quiet for my liking. I sat up, and looked around the marshmallow pink walls, with oddly washed out shades of green chairs, and with one blue lever chair. Something didn't feel right. I'm not normally alone in a hospital, I always wake up to my mother, and she alway have food and drinks on her, so she doesn't leave my side, but I need to star being more independent. She does so much for me, her and Calum, and it's time for me to show that I'm doing okay, even if I'm not, but show happiness and joy on the outside, and keep the horrible pain inside. But I have only know Calum for a few months, and he cares for me, and I don't really know a lot about him still. Calum came back into the room, with the glass of water, and a bag of malteser's with him.

"Why do you, well, why are you so nice to me? I've only know you for a few months really, You don't know much about me, like, hobbies, likes, dislikes, fears and what ever really", I said with out being rude, or saying it in any ride way.

"Wow, ummm well, I'm nice to you, because your nice to me, and I care for you. As much as you hate it, but having someone there for you for what you have, makes life easier, and better having someone who you can talk to you or just being a friend really? and Jessica".

"Yes", I said, as he sat down and put down the drink and chocolate on the table over my bed.

"What do you like?",he said with his famous smile.

"Well, I like reading and writing books. Umm I love Italian food. I like the colour blue, even though I never wear it. I like dogs. I like listening to music. I could go on, but what about you?" I asked him as he gave me some of his malteser's.

"Well if you didn't know, I like, not wait, LOVE malteser's! I like anything to do with sports. I love dogs. I love the fact that I'm friends, well more then friends with this girl call Jessica", he said and a smile formed on my face. He got out of his chair, and sat on the bed where I was laying. "So yeah where was I?", he said and continued talking about the things he like. My smile get growing bigger and bigger. He made this wired but wonderful feeling inside me. As he was saying what he likes, I could see my mother looking through the glass window in the door, and I could tell she was smiling. I looked away and continued to listen to Calum.
