chp 3 "fight with you"

"You are gone, Mr.Karan!" I yelled picking up pillow which was just in front of me and aimed his forehead but damn his reflex it was now laying on his side down!

"Are you insane, Niki? You know, I was just helping you out there." he complained taking the pillow from other side as I missed the shot, and started walking towards me. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans while his black hair perfectly styled as always.

"Give my pillow back you duffer." I tried to grab it from his hand but just on time he held it high in the air. It's totally not helping when he is 6' and I am just 5'4".

God!!

"why did you throw it, if you wanted it?huh? Now it describes who is duffer" he commented and I just rolled my eyes.

"Okay, fine." I sighed and sat on the sofa.

"Did you just said 'thank you?' " He asked keeping his brown eyes on me and Wiggled his eyebrows.

"In your dreams." I scoffed.

"aww do I invade your dreams often, dear" He teased me.

"you know what, I hate you sooo much." I was literally irritated right now.

"no you love me, duffer." he said with a smiled. Now that made my heart skip a beat. It never happened before, or it did? Uff!

"you are an idiot." I quickly retroted trying to act normal.

"Na, you are idiot, dumb, and most of all-" He started but now ladies and gentlemen this is what you should do when you don't like the person next to you irritating you! It's called 'Niki's treat...zweet'

"you-" he screamed loudly when I took a pen and with force stabbed his thigh giving him a cry loud in pain.

You know it's really painful!! 😉😉

"what happened? Karan why are you screaming." Nik came rushing out of room.

" Niki you did it?" he asked giving me a glare.

"no it was her ghost. Can't you see its paining." He growled in pain.

"are you okay" I asked.

" ya, I am fine"

"see, He said he is fine."(A/N- any twilight fan here😉) I said and walked to my room to take my backpack and went to the car where I saw both of them already seated. I made my way to backseat and started listening to the music.

As today I was early I made my way directly to the lab.

"Hey, good morning!" I chirped to Neerali while entering the lab and she turned her head to see me.

"Hii Niki, good morning. How come you are so early. Did you took yesterday's oath too seriously?" she said rinsing the glassware with water.

"yeah!! Kind off." I stood seat next to her and started doing the routine till mam enter.

"where is Karan?" she asked turning towards me.

"yeah he is on the way...crawling!" I said rolling my eyes.

"ok..ay" she started then saw something behind me and said"I am now sure your early morning is because of Karan"

"he arrived?" I asked looking back, "o yeah!! Hows' you feeling dear?"

"you are going to pay for breaking my leg with that stupid pen, Nikita Joshi!" he growled in pain.

" Is it paining too much? Just tell me" I asked him concerned while helping him to sit on table.

"na! I am enjoying this.." note the sarcasm.

"ouch! It hurts!" he gasped loudly when I touched the place above his knee,

" ohh! I am sorry I didn't mean to do this. Is it paining too much, lets go to hospital." I panicked all of the sudden. Did I really hurt him so badly.

Now I'm feeling guilty. " I can't see you in pain." I wisphered on verge of tears.

I really can't see him like this, yes I know this is because of me but I didn't know it would be so serious that he will not be able to walk. Sorry Karan.

You can say I am split personality disorder!

"Don't cry, I am fine. Its just that..." he paused and then " I was kidding." and he stared running away from me.

"you always do this, wait here you pagal.." I reacted and started running behind him but he stopped.

Did I said I am having split personality disorder...make it two...and include my best friend in it!

And then final bell rang, students arrived and of course lastly followed by our mam.

"Good morning, students." she greeted us but when her eyes landed on us- specifically me, "Ah! You are on time, good to see that you took my suggestion seriously." She adjusted her spectacular again as they always tends to slide on her nose.

"not yours its Karan's suggestion. Ok it feel good being early some time. Be happy mam." I thought to myself.
And the rest of the college went as same.

"Hii, How did it feel coming early, huh?" Nik raised his eyebrow at me playing with food using his fork at the canteen table.

I just like the our canteen. Its big and spacious. It's the second best thing after library.. now wait, third as first will always be my bedroom which is the most comfortable place for me in this whole world.

"It was..."I stared, looking down at my plate "amazing?!" I replied with full excitement. Everybody stopped for a second, looking the sudden change in tone. They chuckled and continued with food.

"Karan, I need your favour." Nik asked Karan and he just hmmed, as he is literally busy in eating that pasta like it is world last plate and he will never get to see another.

Actually I have seen him always like that with food..

"I will not be able to drop you guys home, as I and Tina are going for a industrial visit for our project work. Tomorrow is the last day of submission, and we have to complete it today." We were listening him quietly as he continued "so you two will manage to go home by yourself today, Right?" which came out like an oder rather than a question.

"we can..."Karan trailed out the sentence and turned his eyes towards me giving me a questioning eye.

"what?"

"Even we have a project to complete." I finished his sentence remembering the assignment of English.

"We will be completing it today. Don't worry we will manage."
And the bell rang giving the signal of lunch end.

The rest of the day went normal.
