chp 22 "you know him?"

“so what do you think? How will he react?” she asked me moving to-and for in my cabin.

I just launched myself on my seat and took out my laptop and started working.

She saw me and marched towards me just a inch apart from my table and asked me whether I was going to answer her or not.

“I don’t know. Don’t ask me about the feeling factor dear. I don’t know. Dev is a hardworking boy. You cant find out until you ask him.” I was saying this all things not  looking in her eyes but on my laptop screen and then I finally lifted my eyes to meet her eyes to tell her the last sentence “tell your feeling, if you keep it inside it may cost you.”

She looked confused what I told her, but I was fully aware about what I was saying.

Time.

“o..kay. I will propose him today itself.” She said a moved out.

It was mere 30 minutes when Sneha again came inside.

I looked her and she had a shoked expression in her face. I didn’t got what was the matter but I was sure something is there. So I asked her finally about happned and she sat on the front chair  placing the red rose on my table.

Did she proposed him?

“are you going to spill it out?” I asked her again.

“he proposed me!!!!” she squeled in the chair “can you belive me he proposed me. O god I am on the cloud nine.” He clapped her hand in excitement and jumped in the seat.

“happy for you Sneha. Congo.” I said with short smile.

“its not what I am shocked about, I knew he liked me. But the thing I am shocked is the things he told me.” She said dreamingly.

“o! good” I said not wanted to hear any further.

“did you ever talked with Ronit?” the mention of name made my head shap to her.

“I thought you liked dev, I didn’t know Ronit proposed you” I stated.

“he didn’t proposed me, it just like dev told me that Ronit helped him in realizing that he should say his feeling to me as soon as possible.” She said but now calm and continued “he said that Ronit told him that ‘tell your feeling, if you keep it inside it may cost you’” she with quoting the line with finger.

I just stared her. And when I didn’t said anthing she spoke again,

“your thought are too smiliar or you said it to him too?” she inquired.

“no I didn’t tell him anything”

“aww!! You both are so smiliar I your thinking then” she took the red rose and was admiring it while was lost in her world.
And then she left the cabin with those roses and putting it close to her chest.

Love can make anyone crazy.

Suddenly I got a call on the intercom and I picked it up after two rings.

There was the manager of the lab and called me to inform me that the meeting that was to be held in 10 minutes and I was to be present there.

I walked out after five minutes and reached the the conference hall. I reachd there, I think I was the last person to arrive and so made my way to the empty chair.

The meeting began it regarding the new strategy and development in the techniques. I was listening carefully and then about in one hour the meeting completed and we started to leave when a voice of mr khanna-boss and co- ceo of the company- stopped me. I turned around and saw him.

“have a seat miss joshi” he said and I followd his instruction.

I saw Ronit too was sitting. I didn’t notic him before?

“what is it sir?” I asked.

“we found that there are some people that are trying to leak our new formula about the lastest medicine. And I want both of you to investigate it. Not because you both are senior but because I trust you both.” News was a shock for me and by seeing Ronits expression it was neutral.

“we have to try our best” said Ronit.
“tell if you need any type of help, you see I will not be here so as an co-ceo i need you to cover. Right ronit.” said mr. khanna and left.

Ronit is co-ceo?

We exchanged glances. And then we both spoke in unison.

“who could be that?”

The rest of the office went the same just the difference being investigating the curprit.
It was 7:00 in the evening and stood up to get home. I went downstairs and signed the log out register and went out.

I reached home and saw tina was sobbing or you can say crying.

Why is she crying? And where the hell is Nik?

I quickly moved towards her and sat next to her, and asked what was wrong but instead of answering me she just cried.

“what happened?” I asked her again.

she pointed to the television in front where a sad scene was going on…really?

I quickly shut that t.v and went to my room. I was staring at the ceiling. Just reminding today’s day. so much happened in a day.

Suddenly I got up from my bed and started the laptop and got up the data I collected from the day. I was going throught the data when a name got my attention, and I quickly took my phone to call the Ronit to ask about his investigation.

I was about to call when my phone rang, the caller id displayed Ronit’s name.

I picked it up in the third ring and said hello.
The person other side also said hello.

“I was just about to call you, I think I have doubt on the person.” I said over the phone.

“yeah I too have a suspect, you tell me.. who have you suspected.” He asked.

“no, you tell me first”

There was a scilence for a munite then I thought to speak,

“mr.khan” we both said in unison.
Yeah we both have same thinking.
