chp 10 "Feeling different"

Hii so this is the longest chp I have written till now..2233 words well .....

“Niki you are getting late, this is the last time I am waking you.” I heard Nik voice was coming from downstairs.

I took a long breath uncovered the duvet from my face and let the sun rays  fell on my morning face and messy hair. I stretched my body and stood up from my bed and quickly made my way toward the bathroom. Doing my morning stuff, I came back in my room and wore my black tank top and jeans and looked myself in the mirror to adjust my hair in a perfect ponytail and added a kajal to my brown black eyes and finally giving my eyelashes a push upwards I was ready.

“Nik I am ready. Lets go.” I shouted from my room and ran downstairs making my way to kitchen.

“where is my tea?” I asked searching here and there on the table top which was always kept there.

“we don’t have time Niki for that.” I heard Nik voice from living room and he came walking to the kitchen wearing his grey t-shirt and jeans and hair perfectly styled.

“we are already late.” He said still looking his dear phone and texting someone.

I rolled my eyes and made my way to the door and waited for Nik to come out but he was glued at the position still texting on the phone.

“I thought we were late?” I interpreted him so that he can see me standing at the door.

“yes” he responded quickly tugging phone in his jeans pocket and walking towards me and I locked the door when he was totally out.

Nik pulled the car from parking and saw me, I took the cue and immediately walked till the backseat and made myself comfortable.

“where is Karan?” I asked as soon as I saw the seat next to Nik was empty.

Before Nik could respond to my question I saw Karan opening the car door and made himself sit on the seat.

“why are you late bro?” Nik asked immediately starting the car engine and moving in full speed.

“just got less sleep last night.” He said making me instantly remembering the last night event. I lifted my to see him through the rear view mirror and saw him already watching me with a smile.

“its all because of Niki” Nik responed looking straight at the road while driving.

“yes! Of course. This is all because of her” Karan retorted.

“what have I done.” I said innocently.

“don’t give me that innocent face of yours.” Karan replied.

“I am purely innocent my lord” I said in high pitch voice.

“you always make that face when you are curprit.” He said and continued “I can always make out from you when you are lying and when you are not. So don’t play dumb”

“you are dumb” I said strictly.

“and you are innocent?” he raised his brow.

“ask Nik” I  said making as possible puppy face to him.

“I am not getting involved in this drama of yours.” He chuckled.“once I did the mistake of being the part and in that I was the one who suffered because of you two and you both were back together.” he said remembering the event I guess.
