The day was going slowly as hell, ram wanted to ask her out.... What was my role but...I can't even know what to do.

I made my way to table. Karan was busy talking with Riya. Its not that Riya is a not good, in fact she is perfect and I think Karan likes her too. He never have engaged himself in the girls for more than a week if its not me,tina or Neerali. Even I got a feeling that Ria likes him too. I am just waiting when one of them will tell me about that.

I will not lie that I like Karan, but I know it will be only one way.

I sat on the table and their attention shifted to the new members that's me   and ram.

"What is he doing here Niki?" Karan asked pointing towards ram.

"Just hanging around dude, got any problem?" Ram spoke And I just gave him a glare to shut up which he gladly did.

The rest of the lunch break was done with the glaring section and I was more than happy when bell rang.

Soon the day ended and I was back home to mom and dad.

"I'm home -" I yelled and was going so say more when I noticed the some people in the living room.

"Be home back early we have guest arriving"

O!

"Niki I am making you cheese sand-" karan too stopped seeing the scenario.

"O!" Well same thought dear...

I smiled.

"Go upstair and freshen up and come back down, and wait where's Nik?" Mom asked.

"He is with his group completing his project, will be back till 5:00" I replied.

"OK" Mom nodded while dad was busy talking with the other guest.

I was just getting upstair, bit I turned to noticed two couple sitting with Mom and Dad.  One of them were of my parents age while other where may be in there early twenties. The girl with brown eyes and pretty smile and her husband too was good looking were the younger couple between them.

"I will be back" I popped the words before climbing the stairs.

"I think I should go before-" I heard incomplete sentence of karan before reaching the room.

What the...!

My room was mess with my bed unmade -which I am sure was made in morning, but the thing that caught my eyes where the rapper of chocolate all over my floor.

And I know who has done this...one and only...

"Kaarraann I am going to kill you" I quickly made my way down and saw  karan was stepping out.

"You better wait there Mister...or face my wrath." I yelled.

All froze and watched me as I was fuming in anger,

"S-see i-i was just..." O! See how innocent he is acting?!

"Shut up, now you are going to clean all the mess you created"

"And why should I?"

"You are not going without doing that and better be on time cause I am hungry as hell and you are buying me all the chocolates whose rapper are lying on my floor and my bed should be in better condition. Get it?"

"But-"

"But what?"

He just gave me a stupid smirk and waved me good byee and walked out.

I ran after him to catch him but he just slide little and foot collided with door frame which resulted in me started falling down waiting for the impact and shut my eyes tightly.

But the impact never came. Was hanging in air? Wait, what? I opened my eyes to only see the man holding me tightly with his one arm around my waist and one on my shoulder, my both hands clutching his shoulder for support.

The thing that caught my eyes where his eyes.

Blue... I never saw a blue eyes in real. Face to face.

"Are you OK?" He asked.

"H-h? I mean y-yes.." I replied standing properly "thanks."

"Your welcome"

"Niki what are you fine?" Mom asked coming over while karan rapidly took me in his bear hug.

"Are you OK? I am sorry, are yo-" karan rambled against my head.

"I am fine"

I pull out from him and saw my mom talking to the blue eye boy who is assume must be one or two year older than me.

Mom catch my attention and move towards me "Niki meet ronit, he is son of Mr. And Mrs. Rathod. Our old friend"

I just gave a small smile. I looked around for Karan to say something but in due time his phone rang and reading his expression it was quite obvious it was from his dad.

"See you tomorrow then?" I spoke.

"Yup. Bye" he moved and came back just to ruffel  my hair and went back.

"You are an idiot!"

"Sure."

Let's go inside.

We sat for like an hour chatting. From what I have gathered till now, Mr and Mrs. Rathod have one son that's Ronit while one daughter whom I saw earlier pari. Well she surely looked like one. And her husband Pritesh.
Pari was pregnant and was soon having baby. She was quite excited about it.

Ronit studied business management and was doing master degree.

"Niki bring some snacks." Mom asked me.

"Yeah sure."

"No dear its ok" Mrs Rathod said smiling

"Its OK aunty. You must be hungry and if not just give me some company while eating...". And made my way towards kitchen.

I looked for the jar of chakali and nankatai 
But I couldn't reach and due to all clean freak task I Dont even remember where I kept the mini stool.

Just great.

What to do? What to do? What to do? What to-

" may I help you?" That voice.

"What are you doing here?" just shut up Niki.

He just stared and raised an eyebrow.

"Can you just pull down those jar?" See simple.

"Sure."

He pulled them and I started putting them in plate.

"So how's studies going? I think you have your exams in few days right?" Ronit asked.

"Yes. We will get free in less than 3 weeks."

"Sounds good. But you are gonna miss it. Like I am missing now. Gather all your memories." I just hummed in response.

"So how's life in Ahmadabad? Hostel life ?" I asked.

"Truly speaking I missed home badly and I think will come back as soon as possible. But it will may take 1-2 years."

"So let's go"

"Sure Angel"

I halted in mid step by the words, I turned to say something but was called by mom.

"Coming!!"
