Everyone was gathered in the Kuran mansion to await the arrival of Yuki and to meet the newest edition. They sat at the dining table and chatted idly, giving their thoughts on what the baby would look like. The time at which Yuki was meant to be back was drawing nearer, but she was no where in sight. "Late as always." Zero mumbled to himself. Just then, a rush of cold air filled the mansion. "Sorry I'm late!" Screamed Yuki as she ran inside, Ruka and Akatsuki following close behind. "Slow down, what if you drop her?!" Screamed Ruka. Everyone was taken aback.

Everyone's eyes fell to Yuki, curious about the furry bundle she held in her arms. "Introducing to you all, my baby!" She said with blushed cheeks as she allowed everyone to see her precious Ai. "WOAH!!! A kid gave birth to a kid!" Screamed Aido in shock. "SHHHH! You'll scare her!" Whispered Yori. "How mean.. I'm an adult." Yuki said as she pouted. Everyone crowded around Yuki and the baby, wanting a glimpse. "Her eyes look like Kaname's, but she's not a beauty at all." Said Aido. "Noooo!" Screamed Yuki. "Yuki... pay no attention to Aido's lies, she's very cute!" Said Yori as she reassured her friend.

Amidst the chaos, Yuki spotted Zero. "Zero... thanks for coming even though you're busy." SaidYuki as she walked over to him. Zero paused, then outstretched his hand towards the newborn snuggled in her mother's arms. He let out a slight chuckle. "So you're the one who made Yuki attack me." He said as the baby grasped his finger. He felt a strong feeling of love for her, and wanted to do anything possible to protect her. Yuki and Zero trailed off from the group. "I'm glad you're safe." Said Zero as he grabbed Yuki's hand. "Thank you for everything, Zero." Said Yuki as she kissed him. The two observed Yori rocking Ai to sleep. "You know, I had a dream recently." Said Yuki as a smile crept across her face. "What about?" Asked Zero.

"It was of a man. He was sitting, basking in the sunlight with a baby. And I thought, how wonderful it would be, if this could actually happen."
