Third Person POV
It was dark out, just after nine o'clock. The shattered moon was hung high above the rooftops, casting an eerie shadow over the cobbled street. A group of men emerged from the shadows and headed down the street towards the only other source of light, a shop called 'From Dust Till Dawn'. Leading a group of suit clad men was a relatively tall man who possessed a pale complexion, ginger hair and glowing, cat-like green eyes. The ginger haired man had an ever present smirk on his face that caused his lips to twist into an ugly smile around his fat cigar that was left hanging from his mouth.
Only few were there to see the group walk by, but all quickly fled and ducked out of their way once they did. The only set of eyes that remained on the men glinted amid the shadows, dancing with intrigue and something more serious. The eyes remained on the men until they reached the shop and entered, those same dark eyes flashing brightly before they melted away into the darkness.
Inside the shop (Third Person POV)
The ginger haired criminal stood at the counter, his gaze lingering over the colourful crystals in the display case before looking back up at the old, squinty eyed store owner. He started talking, a smirk ever present on his face "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?" As he spoke, a goon who was standing to his right took a step forward and raised his gun, pointing it directly at the old store owners head. "P-please" the dishevelled man begged "Just take my lien and leave".
"Shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money" replied the ginger man in a relatively soothing voice. Then he directed his attention towards his goons "grab the Dust" he ordered.
The goons quickly got to work, grabbing Dust containers from inside a briefcase one produced, and filling them from the tubes that lined the walls. Another stayed at the counter with a separate briefcase "Crystal" his gruff voice reverberated around the room, causing the man at the centre of his attention to comply hastily "Burn. Uncut" the goon completed his sentence as the store owner continued removing his goods from the display case.
As the thugs continued their jobs, none noticed the door quietly slide open, and the owner of the dark eyes entered silently, then slink away to the back of the store, eyes wandering to the short redhead dressed in a red cloak. This observation was followed quickly by the girl dressed in black quickly darting into the shadows, vanishing before anyone noticed she appeared.
Only one noticed another person in the shop, however it was a different girl from the one who entered, for this girl was dressed in a ruby red cloak. The goon headed towards the short, red cloaked girl at the back of the store, drawing his glowing red weapon and speaking as he walked "alright kid, put your hands where I can see 'em" his voice boomed. However the redhead remained unresponsive and so he spoke again "Hey, I said hands in the air".
As he drew closer he could now hear hints of music blaring from the girls direction, yet never stopped his advance. "You get a death wish or something?" he inquired, seemingly perplexed as he reached out and placed a single gloved hand on the kid's shoulder, knocking her hood down and revealing her headphones, black hair with red tips before she turned, revealing stunning silver eyes.
"Huh?" the girl spoke at last, looking back up at the man as he gestured to his ears, silently requesting that she take her headphones off. "Yes?" she questioned, tilting her head and pulling the headwear off as required, allowing the music to flood into the tense scene. "I said put your hands in the air, now!" bellowed the goon.
"Are you... robbing me?" The crimson girl asked. "Yes." responded the man exasperatedly. There was an almost comedic pause before the silver eyed girl let out a quiet "Oh." and sent the goon flying, sailing past the snappily dressed, green eyed man before slamming into a wall on the opposite end of the shop.
