"Deity"

We deities have a whole space of pocket universe carved out. Battles are rare.

I am actually a multi-planar deity, but I segregate myself. I only need the knowledge found on this plane of existence. Knowing too much about other planes is simply distracting.

"What are these new worms eating my crops? I am become struck on how they look like the delicacy dish of humming bird tongues."

It is quiet right now. It gets busier in a few hours. I like my setting. A variety of things to review in nearby cases and a counter to place them on for reading.

I dimly know of a servant offering the basic level bond to a meager noble house.

Someone thrusts hairs through the borehole of my bond stone.

I sense a being that was a fox, but now has a light and bright spirit from far away.

My body changes form.

Paper knowledge no longer surrounds me, but feathers. I am shaken. I place my near 'wing' on the counter. I place my far "clawed foot' on the counter too.

She ties the hair, and she throws her whole head of hair forward. Bringing this makeshift necklace over her head, I am tickled by even more hairs against the stone. She launches the hair onto her back.

She holds the stone and kisses it. 'I love reading and learning.' She whispers.

I buckle at the knees of the other 'clawed foot".

She drops the stone under her shirt and presses in. 'I will keep you close to my heart I promise.'

I am on my back. Looking the upper firmament.

The sound of her heart and tender breathing has me almost eager to stay this way.

I hear her talking to the others. "Is something wrong? What?"
