Chapter 19

**Zach's POV**

I relaxed as I held her in my arms. I felt bad for how stressed she was. And now I was taking up all the responsibility to help relieve her problems. I loved her so much that I needed to help her. She was my entire life. I closed my eyes and fell asleep holding her. I shifted slightly and I felt her move out of my arms. I opened my eyes and looked around. Zea was rummaging through the fridge for food. "Are you okay, darling?" She nodded and pulled out a carton of cottage cheese. She ate right out of the carton and looked at me. "I am just really hungry." I nodded and closed the door. She sat down at the table and kept eating the cottage cheese.

I took it away from her and she tried to bite me. What was going on with her? I sighed softly and put the carton back in the fridge. She stared at me for a long time, unaware of what I was doing. I picked her up bridal style and carried her into our room. I threw her on the bed and she bounced slightly. She just sat there and watched me. "Honey, I love you, but you need to snap out of it.Your hormones are out of control. You need to realize that I am your husband and you shouldn' bite me."

She waited silently and stared at me. She blinked a few time and then curled into a ball. Her eyes were wide and full of tears. She looked really scared. I wanted to hold her but I knew that she wouldn't let me. I sighed softly and waited for her to allow me to come closer. It took a while, but eventually I was holding her in my lap trying to console her.

**Mackenzea's POV**

I had no idea why he was still here. I had just tried to attack him and bite him. So why was he holdin gme and trying to comfort me? Something was very wrong here. "Why aren't you running away from me?" He laughed softly and held me closer. "Why would I run? I love you, honey. It doesn't matter what happened or that you tried to attack me. I will always feel that way about you." I nodded, sniffing my nose softly. I had never meant to attack him, something came over me and I was out of control.

He kissed my forehead gently and I slowly began to relax. He smiled and laid his head on top of mine. "We need to figure out what happened to me when I tried to bite you. It can't be anything normal." He sighed soflty and nodded. "You have a point. It would make things a lot easier if we figured it out." I nodded and kissed him gently. I felt a little better knowing that we were going to solve this strange problem. I closed my eyes for a few minutes and ended up falling asleep for three hours. When I finally woke up Zach was watching me. I smiled and he kissed me gently on the forehead. "How did you sleep?" I grinned and ran my hands through his hair.

He relaxed completely. "I slept good surprisingly. I thought that maybe I would have a nightmare." He nodded and hugged me closer to him. "I'm glad that you slept good." I exhaled slowly and nuzzled his neck. I couldn't believe that I had tried to hurt the man I love so much. He was my everything and I never wanted to lose him. If these episodes keep getting worse, I could end up killing him. I really didn't want that to happen.
