The One

Chapter 4

There I stood in front of Austin and Sarah making out. I wish I could move, but my body is frozen. I can't even process what's happening through my head. My best friend and my boyfriend the guy I have had a huge crush on, and the guy that would go with me to the movies, cuddle, send me flowers, dedicate songs to me, the guy that would sneak into my room every night just to hug me and kiss me good night.

Its all over, everything that happened between us was just a game, a joke, it was nothing to him. Was he pretending to love me? Has he been hooking up with Sarah this whole time behind my back, and i've been so stupid to notice.

My annoying alarm blares its 8 am. I groan and knock the clock with my fist. It was a dream, I can't get that night off my mind. It all clear in my head. I stand up from bed and head to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

I head to my closet and pick out some black shorts and a white tank top, and I pair it with my red vans. I curl my hair into big waves and I put mascara and eyeliner on. Simple makeup for the day those two are my musts.

Today I will be going to hang out with Kendall since yesterday we made plans. She wont be working today so we are going to go to the mall and other places. Sounds fun she's a really cool chick, yesterday we were talking about our favorite kinds of music. Her and I love Ed Sheeran & The Neighbourhood.

"Ariana! Your friend is waiting for you," my mom informs me.

I quickly grab my bag and my keys and head out the room closing the door behind me.

"Hey," I say to Kendall, she is waiting for me in the living room.

"Morning, ready to go?" Kendall asks me.

"Yes lets go," I say.

We head out to Kendall's car. Her black jeep smells like strawberries, her back seats are full of stuff.

"Excuse the mess I really don't clean," says Kendall throwing her magazines to the back seat.

"Uh... its ok," I say. Man Riley's car is worst, this isn't even close to how messy Riley's car is.

The rest of the car ride is quiet.

"Awkward," Kendall says as she laughs.

I laugh along. Its true.

"Lets put some music on, shall we," Kendall says turning on the radio.

One of Imagine Dragons song comes on. I love this song.

"Gosh I love this song," Kendall screams.

"I love this song too," I reply. Its Radioactive this song is really popular right now.

By the time the song is over we are already parked in the mall's parking lot. Shopping is one of my hobbies.

We are walking through the mall when we bump into 2 guys. Both of them are tall one with blonde hair and the other one with black hair and tattoos.

"Kendall!" shouts the one with blonde hair. I can notice his irish accent.

"Niall, Zayn what are you guys doing here?" Kendall asks them.

"Just came to buy some outfits for Liam's party this weekend," says the guy with blonde hair.

"Nice I was about to go look for an outfit too," Kendall replies.

"So who's your friend?" asks the blonde haired guy.

"Guys this is Ariana," Kendall says as she gestures her hand to me.

"Hi i'm Niall," says the guy with the irish accent, as he greets me by shaking my hand.

"Hi," I answer back.
