This Friday afternoon has been pretty nice its finally the weekend and the breezy warm air feels nice against my skin. Amazing weather for being September.

My phone buzzes in my pocket. I take out my phone and answer. I gasp when I see the caller ID.

"Dad! Hey," I say through the phone.

"Ariana, how have you been?" my dad asks a smile on his voice.

"Great, and you? Its so nice to hear you're loud voice"

"I'm busy like always, and I miss your voice too, hows your mom and Riley?"

I break a laugh. "Good, mom working like always too and Riley just doing nothing like always," I say.

My dad laughs. "That young lady needs to find a college soon!" says my dad.

"I know" I reply.

"W-wait let me answer the door" says my dad through the phone as I hear it be set down.

I hear talking, but I can't quiet hear who is it or what their talking about.

"Ariana?"

"Yea Dad"

"I have to go honey, I have work to do, i'll call again later, really sorry I have to go, bye," says my dad.

"Its ok, bye dad," I say hanging up the phone.

It is so nice to hear my dad's voice, I haven't talked to him in almost 2 months now. I miss him so much, I wish he could come and give us a visit.

I look at my screen one more time and lock it setting it on the glass table outside in our patio.

Zayn and I have been texting all day long and its funny because in person he is more shy. But its ok, he is so sweet and nice.

As I laugh at Zayn's last text I receive another one from Kendall.

*Hey i'm outside your door, open it*

I laugh and head to open the front door.

"Hey!" I say as I open the door and see Kendall with a pizza box & some wine in her hand.

"Brought some friends," Kendall says a smirk on her pale face. She has been sick but she still puts on that smile.

I crack a smile. "I see," I say.

She sets the wine on the counter and opens the pizza box.

Aw pepperoni my favorite topping!

I dig in and start to eat. I also take a glass of wine. How did Kendall get this anyways? I shouldn't be drinking wine but my mom isn't here.

Riley joins us as she comes from being with Jonah the whole day.

"Join us," Kendall said to Riley.

We start to chat and Riley talks about her applying for a college she found. She has applied for a college in New Jersey before graduating, but they had bad news for her she didn't make it in.

I'm glad Riley is back on track and that she is trying harder about going to college. I mean the girl is 19 soon to be 20 in lets see its September and she is from December, omg in 2-3 months.

The rest of the night is spent laughing, eating, talking and watching movies, great way to start the weekend.

...

"Morning," I hear someone say as I enter the kitchen.

"Morning, Mom," I say as I rub my eyes from the little hang over from last night.
