The One

Chapter 25

As I am boarding on the plane, I get text messages from Kendall, my mother and Eleanor.

Kendall saying I am making a big mistake, I guess Harry told all of them. Eleanor says the same; to stay. My mom asking me asking me to not do it, Kendall told her of course.
Why can't everyone let me make my own decisions. I want to try this and see how it works out.

I shut my phone off and hold Austin's hand and lay my head back.

In the morning i'm woken up by the flight attendant announcing the plane will land in approximately 30 minutes.
I look over at Austin his head resting on my shoulder and his hand locked with mine. This brings memories back to when we would go to the movies, and I would rest my head on his shoulder and we would hold hands.

My dad will be surprised when he sees me here. I turn my phone back on and as soon as the screen turns on my notifications blow up. Text after text, call after call. None of the from Harry tho.

Austin wakes up, removing his hand away from mine to wipe his sleepy blue eyes. "Morning babe," he tells me placing a kiss on the palm of my hand.

"Morning," I reply.
After the plane lands Austin and I walk to grab our luggage and a cab. We drive home.

Seattle, I am finally back, I feel different being here i've missed my hometown. The cold brisk air makes me shiver but it also makes me feel happy. I've missed this place. As I lay my head on the window and look around I feel comfortable being here.

"You've missed this?" Austin asks me.
I smile. "Yes."

As we are getting closer to home, I feel nervous to see everyone. I never thought I would be here back with Austin and seeing Sarah again.

"Michael and Sarah are waiting for us."

"You told them I would come?"

"Yes I texted Michael during the plane." Austin says. "Is it ok if Sarah is here?" he asks nervously.

"Yea, sure I guess I won't mind."
We arrive to Austin's house and I see Michael and Sarah waiting for us outside Austin's door.

"We are here."
The cab pulls over, taking our luggage out. Austin pays the tall skinny man, and holds my hand walking me towards the guys.

"Ariana!" Sarah shouts coming to hug me. "I missed you! Wow you look different."

"Y-yea people change."

"Hey we missed you," Michael says as he gives me a hug.

"Missed you too dude."

"Lets go inside," Sarah says.
She acts like everything is in the past. Like what happened between the three of us never happened.

"So I see Austin and you are back together," Michael says.

"Yea."
Sarah doesn't say anything or even looks at us. She opens the box of noddles and opens her chopsticks and starts eating quietly.

"How is California treating you."

"Good, its pretty great. The weather, the beach, the party's."

"So you party now?" Michael asks surprised.

I laugh. "Yes," I reply.

"Any hot friends that you have?"

I crack a smile. "Actually yes, I have one hot friend. My best friend Kendall." Sarah looks at me when I said best friend.

"And how does she looks like?"

"Well she's tall, as tall like me and she has brown hair, beautiful body."
