As the days pass by i've done a lot of thinking, and I need to get rid of everything. But first I need to start with my old friends. My conscious had to be clean so I need to do this.

I grab my suit case and head to the airport, I hand my ticket and passport and head in the plane.

My hands play together nervously. The flight attendant offers me some champagne and a cocktail, I am flying first class by the way. I have the money so might as well waist it all for my parents to complain, but my father makes money every day so its no problem for him. All my parents care about is money and being a family with power, my mother once said it herself.

Hours later I have arrived, I grab my purse and walk to grab my luggage then get a cab home. Before I get home I make a stop at a hotel, I don't want to be home, I would prefer to stay in a hotel where I can complain about everything.

When I get home I make the cab wait, because I know there will be nobody home, and I was right, so I make the cab drive me to his work.

The big tall building is all familiar in my head, I was born and raised here, but I don't belong here anymore.
I walk into the building and head in the elevator, pressing the level I want to reach.

Once I reach the floor the elevator doors open. I walk out and reach the secretary's desk, I wouldn't want to surprise my father like the last time I was here.

"Is my father Mr.Brooks here?" I ask the secretary. She knows me well but she still calls my father's office.

She picks up the phone and dials a 3 digit number. "Mr.Brooks someone you know is here to see you," she says.

She was about to say my name but I thank her for not saying it.

She then gets off the phone and tells me "he is available, go ahead," she says.

"Thank you Lauren," I say and walk to my father's office.

I knock on the door before opening the door. "Come in," I hear him say.

I open the door and see my father in his brown leather tall chair sitting down. Once he sees me his eyes go big and he immediately stands up.

"Miss me?" I say.

"Ariana!" my father's voice changes into a sweet voice. He walks up to me and places his hands around me hugging me tight. The feeling of my father hugging me after not seeing him for over almost 2 years now feels nice. "Where have you been? Where have you been all this time? You've had your mother worried."

"Dad calm down, I stayed with Riley," I lie. "And I bet mom doesn't even care."

"Your mother cares a lot."

"Right. So you guys been talking?"

"Not much, just after getting divorced we stopped talking, but your mother knows I am here for her and for you girls."

"David," a brunette lady says as she enters the room. I immediately recognize her, its her the one I found on top of my father making out. "Oh sorry i'll come back later," she says and turns around to walk out.

I stop her. "Its ok you don't have to leave."

My dad's eyes go wide from shock of my words.

"Dad don't give me that look, I mean you and mom are done. You left her for this lady the least you can do is tell me her name."

"Her names-"

The lady cuts my dad off "its Monica," she says nervous of what my response will be.

"Oh," I say.

I pull my dad to the side and speak with him. "Well i'll leave you alone now," I say.
