Chapter 39

I need to get back to school and that scares me. Since I have not been reported at any school since I came here that could be a problem towards graduation day. But there's a problem here, if I inscribe myself into any school, my mom will find out. But what other option do I have?

2 days later

Today is my first day of school, and I am scared. I just have a feeling everyone will be looking at me. I put on my uniform and head to the kitchen to grab breakfast. I have only mascara on and my hair is in a messy bun.

"First day, you ok?"

"Yes."

"It will be fine, anyways just 3 more months till graduation. I'll introduce you to my friends."

"Are your friends the same as these ones?" I refer to Zayn, Niall, Louis, Liam and Him (Harry).

"No. These friends are better influence on me. You know I have not had one drink since i've met them, they do drink, but they don't party bad like them."

"Ok."

"Lets go, we don't want to be late."

I grab my bag, my phone, granola bar, and my purse. Kendall and I run down the apartment stairs to get in the car. We make a stop at Starbucks, because who doesn't love a warm coffee in the morning.

When we arrive to school we park a block away, because these senior parking lots get full quickly. So when we arrived they were basically all taken. We get out of the car and walk a block to get to school. We enter the front doors and go to the office so I can grab my schedule.

"What are your classes?"

"Um... let me see," I say trying to unfold the paper.

"First: Physics. Second: Calculus. Third: English 12. Fourth: Photography. Fifth: Gym. Sixth: Free Period."

"Really Ariana? You asked for a free period?"

"What? It won't kill me, anyways I am taking all the classes that I need to take. Math, English and Physics."

"You- never mind."

"Come on, lets go in the cafeteria i'll introduce you to my friends."

We walk in the huge cafeteria and stand by the doors, while Kendall looks for her friends. Seconds later we are walking over to a table.

"Hey guys," Kendall says to her friends. "This is my friend from California, who will be going with us here at school. Her names Ariana."

"Hey," I say without a smile, I just wave my hand.

"This is Kimberly, Chase, Lucy-"

"And Jake," says a guy from behind.

"Don't forget me Kendall," he says a smile painted on his lips.

"Hello," he says as he pulls out his hand in front.

"Hi," I reply shaking his hand.

"What's your name?"

"Ariana."

"Nice to meet you Ariana, i'm Jake."

I put on a fake smile and face Kendall.

"So you guys coming to my football game this Friday?"

"Yes," Lucy replies. Her eyes glow as she stares at Jake.

"You play football?" I ask Jake.

"Yes," he replies. "You should come watch me."

I look at my phone and reply "i'll keep it in mind."
