The One

Chapter 14

I grab my stuff from my locker and head to class. All day the memories from last night play on my mind. How he just leaned on me and kissed me, so softly locking his lips with mine.

Now he is kissing other lips. Jade's lips. Well she's his girlfriend, I don't know why I even allowed him to kiss me.

The rest of the day goes by that I don't even notice it. Zayn helps me carry my math and art supplies to his car.

"Thanks," I say giving him a smile.

"Your welcome," he replies a smile painted on his face.

Liam sits on the back and Niall next to him.

"So friday at my place Liam," Niall says. "And you too Zayn."

"I'll be there," Liam says.

"You guys throwing a party?" I ask.

"Yea, you can come too Ariana," Niall tells me.

"I'll try," I reply

Zayn drives me home and drops me off, I thank him and say bye to all 3 boys and head inside.

As I take a seat on my bed I receive a text. The text reads *I need to talk to you* I then immediately recognize the number.

Austin.

I lock my phone and toss it to the floor. I grab my pillow and set my head down. As I am thinking about letting him just talk, and say what he has to say already I feel my eyelids getting heavy.

"Knock, knock," says Kendall knocking on my door.

I open my eyes and realize I took a nap, wow I must have been really tired.

"What's up," I say as I stand from bed, I look over at the time 6:45 pm.

"Well I came over to see if you were ready to leave?"

"Leave where?" I say confused of what she's talking about.

"Niall's party tonight."

"Oh thats right, sorry I totally forgot yea just give me a few minutes to shower, and get ready."

"Alright, i'll be waiting down stairs with your sister Riley."

"Ok."

I lock the door and I immediately start to clean up and grab my clothes, then i'm off to the shower.

I turn off the water and step out the shower to dry myself and my hair. I blow dry my hair and I put on a maroon high waisted skirt, a black crop top, along with some black wedges. I enter my room and start to do my hair into big curls and my makeup. After i'm done I grab spray on some perfume and apply deodorant. I grab my phone & purse and head down.

"Ready," I say to Kendall who is crying of laughter with Riley.

Kendall stands up and walks with me to her car. I read the time 7:30 pm.

The party will just get started.

"You smell good," Kendall says as she buckles up.

I laugh. "Thanks," I say buckling myself as well.

Kendall turns on the ignition and backs up from our driveway and drives off to the party.

"You know how I told you about Austin, how he kept on calling me."

"Yea, I remember, why?" Kendall asks.

"He called again after 1 month, and he wants to talk again."

"And?"

"I think I should let him, just to make him stop bothering me already."

"Come on Ariana, you can't not after what he did to you, don't let him get to you that easily."
