Miss Me? A Fairy Tail Fanfiction (Hiatus?)

Chapter Twelve

I rush into the infirmary with the whole guild behind me. I stand by her bed, awaiting her wake. I hold my head in my hands as I kneel by her bed. "I'm so so sorry, Lucy. I didn't mean for it to get that bad. I'm sorry, I should have fought from the beginning. I'm so so so so sorry." I cry at her bedside. I feel a hand on my head. I look up at her. She smiles at me.

"It's okay, it's my fault. I let my guard down." Lucy reassures. I look at her, confused.

"You had been fighting from the beginning, how did you let your guard down?" I ask. Lucy sighs.

"She got me away from my keys." Lucy explains. I hold the ring of keys up to her. She smiles gently, taking the keys.

"I'm so sorry. I won, but we all knew I would. It's almost time for battle rounds. I have to go. I will visit you before I fight." I greet, running away.

I run out and onto my platform. My eyebrows furrow and I cross my arms. I lean on the edge. I flashback to my past.

I glance at the demon in front of me. She smiles.

"What's with that look? Can't defeat yourself?" She asks, cackling. I growl deeply, furrowing my eyebrows.

"I can beat you and I will!" I yell. "Nature Dragon: Cold Fist!"

I lay on the ground and she lays across from me.

"I guess we are evenly matched, Deathwalker." She states.

"I guess that's true, Galleen." I agree. "No, we are both..."

"Elizabeth." We answer in unison.

I shoot the roots through the ground, they wrap tightly around Laxus's glowing form.

"Wow. You always forget about me. Laxus, I don't think you should try casting Fairy Law. You might get yourself hurt. Let's stop all this nonsense and become friends." I interrupt. Natsu and Gajeel look up at me. I start laughing.

"What are you laughing at?!" Gajeel and Natsu yell at the same time. I laugh even harder.

"You let him hit you with his paralysis attack! How dumb can you be! Here." I offer, squating down.

I place my hands on their back, draining the spell from them. I expel the spell into the ethernano in the air.

Laxus starts glowing again, breaking my roots. He attacks us, paralyzing us all.

I growl, throwing more fists at the iron dragonslayer. He laughs at the fact that I have no more magic power left. I continue to throw more fists, before he knocks me into the ground. I glance at Natsu as he watches his only home be beaten to rubble.

I glare up at the iron eater. I place my hands on the ground beneath my fallen form. I reach down, deep down under the water. I find a kelp forest.

I focus, making it grow along the outside of the large guild hall monster. It grows and grows and grows. By the time it reaches the top, I am beyond exhausted.

Nonetheless, I stand. I wrap my arms around the metal head, hanging on for dear life. I start to grow the seaweed around him, holding him in place temerarorly. I quickly get off him, grabbing some seaweed. I begin devouring the sea plants, until I am full.

Gajeel breaks free.

"Lucy! Have your horse man shoot that electricity box so it blows up!" I yell at her. I turn back to Gajeel. "Nature Dragon: Cold Fist!"

Tears fall from my eyes. They announce Natsu and I. We walk into battle together. Then, the twin dragons emerge.
