I have never once thought about dating not a single time I felt that love-struck around the guys growing up. I asked my parents once and they told me that I should wait for the right guy to come. One day in class my teacher announced a new student will be joining our class a girl from Iceland. The next day there she was standing in front of the class wearing jean shorts and a baggy sweater. To match everything she had bright pink hair that flowed down her shoulders. To say I was awestruck by her appearance as I felt my heart skip a beat. All the boys seemed to agree as I can hear them whisper about how hot she was and I could say I agree. That's when she spoke, "Hello everyone my name is lacy and that's all really". Her voice was sweet as each world melted off her tongue. The teacher asked to say more about herself but she declined.
For the rest of the class, I found myself staring at her lost in the beauty that she was. When lunch came I could see her in the cafeteria surrounded by boys and girls like she was a princess. Just like that our eyes meet and I can feel my heart beating faster and the heat rise to my face. Looking down I quickly walk away to my seat embarrassed. I slowly ate my sandwich before I caught movement in front of me. Looking up I was meet with a bright smile from lacy making my heart go crazy. "Mind if I sit here?" she asked very sweetly and I could only nod. That made her chuckle as she took the seat in front of me. She asked me my name and I could only respond "summer" in a small voice.
"Well summer it's nice to meet you"
she said with a chuckle that I just love. Yes, I am very aware now that the girl in front of me I have gained a crush on in over 2 hours. The rest of lunch we talked a bit as she finally got me to say some words and talk about myself. I also found out that she likes to dance as she even got up and showed me a little bit of a dance. It had me laughing and at the end clapping as she took a bow. We ended up spending the rest of the day together in the classes that we shared which were surprising all but one in the morning. She made me laugh so much as we had to be told to be quiet so many times. I never knew I could grow so comfortable around a girl I gained a crush on but I don't care.
We said our goodbyes as the last bell rang and I could say that today was the best I have had. Walking down the street to my home with a smile on my face
