My mind has been all over the place. I mean, agreeing to his deal could change my entire life.
I am currently walking home from work. I was going to take a cab, but walking seems like the better way to clear my head.
FLASHBACK
I am currently getting ready to go to Justine's party. I glance at myself in the mirror one last time. Satisfied with my look, Gwen walks into the room and smirks.
"Thomas is going to love this!" I smile, "You think?" She nods.
Once we arrive at the party we immediately head over to the drinks.
Thomas makes his way over to me, "You look beautiful." I smirk, "You like?" He kisses my cheek, "I love."
He mumbles into my ear, "You know what tomorrow is?" I smile, "Our one month anniversary." He smiles. "Correct."
He pulls my hand to the dance floor as we dance the night away. He quickly excuses himself while I head up to the bathroom.
As soon as I come back downstairs I decide to look for Thomas. I see him, eventually.
He looks more drunk than ever, I chuckle and roll my eyes as he wobbles towards me.
Instead of coming my way he walks over to Miranda. I furrow my eyebrows, she smirks at him.
Next thing I know they're making out, in front of me. I walk over to them and pull him away.
He glances at me, "Savannah! What are you doing?" I glare at him, "I'm you're girlfriend." He nods, "And?"
Miranda pulls him close to her as they make out once again.
Tears build up in my eyes as I walk outside the door. I sniffle as they stream down my face.
I decide to take a walk home as I just want to clear my head.
-
I shake my head at the thought. I lock open my door and walk inside.
I freshen up and prepare for bed. My eyes drift off into a deep sleep.
-
"Sav, are you in here?" Asked my mom. "Go away." I sniffle. She opens the door. I shield my face with my pillow.
"Mom!" I groan. She sits next to me. "Sweetheart. What's going on?" I shake my head, "Nothing."
She stares at me and nods, "Savannah, I love you. I know you hate when your father and I need to leave for trips. But we'll be back in two weeks."
I nod, "Yeah. So just the two of you are going?" She glances at me challengingly. "Savannah. Not now dear, please."
I sit upright and fold my arms, "Answer the question mom. Is she going to be there or not?"
My mother stares st the floor, "I don't know. Father hasn't said anything. He's still in denial Savannah."
I shake my head, "So that's just okay with you? Mom for all we know he could be or freaking hell, he is cheating on you! All you manage to do is not be bothered."
She is crying now, "Stop Savannah!" I tear up, "You two could've made it work you know." She gets up and leaves my room.
I wake up and run my hands through my hair. I curl up in a ball and try to swallow my tears away.
After a while I drift back to sleep.
I'm glancing at the mirror at my face. It's bloodshot and pail.
I decided to get up earlier for school this morning for two reasons. One of them being that I want to dodge my parents and the second one being, I need to take care of my face as it's looking extremely ugly.
I add my usual make up and I get dressed. I stare at myself in the mirror, gosh what a view.
I look terrible, so I add some foundation to my pail legs. I allow my hair to fall down effortlessly. It's as if it can mask all of the tears, insecurities and arguments.
Once I arrive at school I see Emma taking her lunch out her locker. Before stuffing as much as she can into her mouth.
I chuckle, "Forgot to eat this morning Em? I'd advise you to watch it, as you don't want to pick up even more."
With that said she stoped eating and walked away. Gwen started laughing, "What a psycho." I chuckled.
Before class I dashed to the batbroom. I gasp as I see Emma crying in the corner.
I'm a coward. So I walk out.
I bump into Thomas. He glances at me, "Babe I'm so sorry for what happened. Please forgive me."
I glance at him. I want to make this work, so I nod. He smiles and kisses me.
He says slowly, "Babe, tonight is the big game. You should come, but make sure to wear something really hot. You know, I need to show you off."I smirk, "Alright then." He winks but before he walks away he says. "Babe just don't wear any crop-tops as you still need to work out some more."
I nod. "Got it."
Just then I make eye conatct with Emma. Embarrassment eats me alive.
I narrow my eyes t her before walking away.
I'm a coward.
