I am currently on a lunch break, anxiously waiting for Brandon's arrival.
What if this is all a joke? I mean, he didn't even give me a time that he'd show up.
Just as I settle in giving myself the mental pep talk the bell dings.
I glance up and to my suprise, Brandon walks through the door.
He is wearing a black shirt and black jeans with a maroon blazer and brown boots.
He sits down opposite me. "You've been waiting for my arrival." I roll my eyes, "Or, I've been eating my lunch. Then you just so happen to walk through the door."
He smirks, "I'm going with my theory. Have you decided yet?" I shift uncomfortably in my seat.
He glances at me, waiting patiently for me to reply. I sigh, "I agree to your deal." He looks hopeful, "Great, you ready to go?"
I furrow my eyebrows and fold my arms, "Incase you've forgotten I've got work to do."
He nods, "Nope, you don't." I furrow my eyebrows, but before I could ask him another question he gets up.
He then walks towards Mark's office. Ten minutes later, he walks out and glances at me.
"Let's go." My eyes widen, and I glance at Mark who is nodding at me. I furrow my eyebrows but follow Brandon out.
"What did you say to him?" Brandon shrugs while opening the door to his Audi.
"Not much." He hops into the passenger seat. I fold my arms, "Sure. So what did you say?"
Brandon shrugged, "I just told him that you need to leave earlier because you've got an appointment." I glance at him. He blushes as he proceeds, "I threatened to sue him if he forbid you to go."
My eyes widened, "Brandon! Your insane! I could lose my job!" He waves his hand, "Nah, I wouldn't stress. Besides, even if you did I could help you find a new one."
Then it struck me.
Why is he helping me if I've done nothing but bully him?
-
Thomas grabbed Brandon's bag. Brandon did nothing but stare at my boyfriend.Thomas threw out all his books and laughed at all the sporty magazines that came flying out Brandon's bag.
He laughed, "I'd like to see you play a sport." I fold my arms and roll my eyes.
"Thomas, leave him alone. He is already the walking disaster you really don't need to contribute to his problems."
Thomas let him go and he walked off. The crowd dispersed and I was packing my books then suddenly a felt a tap on my shoulder.
I turned around, "What do you want Brandon?" He says softly, "Thank you for back there."
I rolled my eyes, "Well you weren't going to do it for yourself." He nodded. I blinked, "Why are you still standing here? Leave."
He nodded before scurrying away.
-
Brandon shaked me lightly, "What you thinking about?" I shook my head, "Nothing. Sorry, what were you saying?"
He nodded, "I asked what's your address?" I nod, "Oh okay." I give him my address.
We pulled up infront of my apartment. I suddenly feel so embarrassed as I glance at the building infront of me.
He seems to notice my discomfort as he suddenly says, "My friend owns a moving truck. So he'll be here as soon as I call him." I nod.
Brandon said slowly, "I've got some massive empty boxes at the office. I'm quickly going to get them then I'll be right back to help you pack."
I thank him before rushing inside. I begin to start packing. There really isn't that much to pack as this apartment is somewhat still new.
I open up my wardrobe and my heart kind of breaks, just a bit.
The sight of a half empty cupboard saddens me. I loved clothes, shoes and accessories.
Many of my name brand clothing I had to sell in order to bring in some income.
I jump at the sound of Brandon's voice. "Are you seriously a C cup?" I blush a shade of crimson as I grab my bra out his hand.
"Gee, you've made yourself at home." He shrugs and chuckles, "I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself."
I roll my eyes, "No, clearly." He smiles, "I'll give you some space by starting to pack your living room items in boxes." I nod, "Thank you. That would be much appreciated."
I proceed with my packing until I hear my stomach growl. Only then do I realise that I need to eat something.
Once I walk into the kitchen I see Brandon on the phone. "Please deliver it as soon as possible. Thank you."
He turns around and smiled, "I got dinner sorted." I smiled, "Thanks." He nods.
He carried out some boxes, "I'm going to drop these off at your apartment, and then I'll come back." I nod.
