Kaia was unsure of exactly what the training Amara had in mind was so she chose something practical to wear. She wore a pair of black tights for easy movement and a white spaghetti strap tank top to keep cool.

"I'm ready." She said, rejoining Amara and Lucien.

"Alright, let's go." Amara said.

She led them out the door and down that long hall to a beautiful looking library. It was absolutely huge. So huge that Kaia had no idea where they would even begin. Throughout it there were large dark oak tables and chairs padded with a beautiful red velvet. A common area with a fire place for peaceful reading, a dark red carpet throughout it. This was a dream library.

"So um, where do we start?" Kaia asked.

Lucien shrugged.

"I suppose anywhere." He said.

Amara remained silent. She started muttering something under her breath. Piles of different books started floating towards them.

"Here, we start with these." She said.

That's exactly what they did. They sat around the table and started reading.

To Kaia it felt as if she were learning everything except what she needed to learn. History of magic, history of past evils, spells......She closed her 3rd book and just sat looking at her hands for a moment.

Would she ever learn how to control this power? Would she always have to live in fear of touching another person? Her thoughts were going all over the place.

"Kaia....are you alright?" Lucien asked.

"I had some immature hopeful notion that some sort of information was going to be easy to find." Kaia said. "Maybe its all a futile effort."

Lucien slammed his book closed a little harder than he intended. He saw Kaia jump slightly.

"It's not a futile effort if we find even one little morsel of information. Even if we don't it's not futile to try." He said.

Amara nodded.

"Maybe we need to move away from the books for a bit. Work on some physical training." She said.

Kaia looked back down at her hands.

"How are we supposed to train if I can't touch things without worry of killing them?" She asked.

Amara looked down at her own gloved hands.

"Gloves." She said. "Enchanted gloves. If I could just find the right spell perhaps I can enchant them to damper your magic."

Kaia thought for a moment. She stood straight up.

"I read something that might work!" She said excitedly.

She grabbed the last book she had been reading, flipped to the page and showed Amara.

"Would something like this work or be able to be done?" She asked.

Amara read through. She thought for a moment.

"If I use this spell mixed with another I know, we may not even need the gloves to completely cover your hands which would be a lot more practical in terms of fighting." Amara said.

"It's worth a go don't you think?" Lucien said.

"Give me some time, I'll see what I can do." Amara said, and with that she dismissed Lucien and Kaia from the table.

Lucien and Kaia just looked at each other and shrugged.

"What shall we do now?" Kaia asked.

"She needs time, so we could head over to my place and wait there." He said. "That is...."

He looked at the ground a little too intently. He's said the offer so easily not thinking that perhaps she could still fear him.

"That is....?" Kaia questioned.

"If you'd even like to...I mean...if you're ok with me." He said in a sort of quick mumble.

"Well, aren't you adorable all shy." Kaia chuckled. "Sure I'd love to. Lead the way."

Lucien did just that.
