At the bar, Kurogiri was cleaning the counter so thoroughly that I could mirror myself in its shine - I tested it. The smell of alcohol tingled bitterly in my nose. As per usual, the lights in the room were barely on and it was dim, making me see a mere shadow in my reflection. Silence and quiet lingered. The atmosphere was somehow empty and somehow full of something that was yet to be explained. Though suddenly, my calmness washed away.

"Rio, Rio, Rioo!" Toga rang out loud to round up the gleam in her lively toxic-yellow eyes. I showed her a faint smile, to at least react in any way.

Mister Compress, who sat with the others at a table, attempted to exhale silently, for sure not amused by the new presence. He then looked up from his deck of cards and asked, "Kurogiri, do you know when Tomura Shigaraki is going to return?"

My eyes left the spiced behavior of the blonde and instead roamed towards our barkeeper, who responded, "I am sorry to say, but I do not know exactly. However, it should be soon enough."

The colors of various spirits reflected the sparse light and made their surroundings shine in an octave of tones.

  "Alright, thank you."

Mister Compress, - or as I used to call him - the Cardman was about to say something, but stopped upon being distracted by Toga's attitude splashing against our attendant comrades. The girl was mostly being ignored or sent to the next person, which reminded of a 5 year old.

On my right hand, perhaps the left, I could have sworn Cardman's eyebrow twitched somewhere beneath his mask. He sometimes seemed rather twisted, two-faced like the card that he was.

Noises faded, except for the ones those drawn cards created, and the room turned quiet once again.

Seconds continued, minutes drove me to believe an hour had been entered into. I found my mind quite blank and it felt itchy - forcing me to move, feel, think or do at least anything. My decision fell to the third option.

Useless thoughts came on and left my head, more came on and left my head, then came on but left my head. To me it was similar to how much time I spent trying to fall asleep back then, but as my question caught our Barkeeper, he told me it had been twenty five minutes only.

After another felt while, the door cracked open and revealed Shigaraki. In his hands, there were two boxes, one of which appearing more valuable than the other. Not that he greeted us, but some mazy words rattled out of his mouth as always.

Turning around to lurk, I personally uncovered the innards of the boxes to be cell phones for us, since now most fingers and gazes were occupied. Judging by Toga's screams claiming each one would be "Ours alone!", I was right. Well, partly. The mobile devices all were in one of the two boxes.

Next was me. Shigaraki's cold yet fiery orb glared through me as he forcefully pressed a phone into my hand.

Looking me deep into the eyes, he said, "You'll need it." and put a gun on the counter.
