I was sitting on my bed, listening to some music when I'm phone went off.

D=Devin A=Adria
D- can I come over?
A- sure.. why
D- well, can I like spend the night
A- again sure... why
D- fighting.. lots of screaming and yelling at my house
A- come over, I'll tell my mom

A- whatever and make sure to bring clothes
D- why 😉
A- really! Just bring some stupid clothes you idiot
D- I'm your idiot❤
A- whatever❤

*out of text*
"Keep him in your room. Keep an eye on the boy. And don't do anything you will soon regret." Mom said.
"Okay, go the rules. Thanks for letting him escape his house."
"Yeah, okay. Now let me sleeeep!" My mom exclaimed.
"Sorry." I muttered. I went and stood by the door to wait.
"I got clothes." He chuckled, showing me a small round duffel bag that was in his grasp.
"My mom said you can sleep in my room, but have to be quiet. She needs her rest, as she wakes up to do what? I don't know." I whispered.
"Okay." He whispered back.
Once we got into my room, my queen size bed, screamed my name. I had a light switch near my bed and turned off the light, when I felt warm skin touch my other arm. I shivered.
"You cold?" He asked.
"A bit." I said. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close.
"You are really beautiful. Realise that."
"And you are a jerk who won't let me sleep. Realise that." I said. I closed my eyes softly, and soon reality was replaced by memories and dreams.
When my eyes fluttered open, I noticed I was sleeping on Devin's bare, warm chest. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom and put on a red knitted sweater, dark blue jeans and dark ankle boots.
I noticed Devin was awake, lying on my bed when I got back. "See, beautiful." He smiled at me. The kind of smile that's makes your heart melt at the sight of it.
"Yeah right." I said rolling me eyes. Stay strong! Don't try and kiss him! He stood up. I noticed he was now fully dressed. He grabbed my hand and cupped my face in his free hand. Then he leaned in. His lips were warm, welcoming and I enj-
"Hello? Am I interrupting something?" My mom clearly didn't want this to go on any longer. I quickly pulled away.
"No, nothing." I said. You interrupted my first kiss!!
Devin let go of my hand. "Thank you Ms.Madison, for letting me stay the night. Things at home are pretty tough."
"You are welcome anytime. And please, call me Lilli." My mom said.
"Thank you Lilli." He said testing out the name.
"I'm going to make breakfast. Pancakes and bacon!" My mom walked off.
"Now where were we?" Devin smirked and grabbed my hand again, he cupped my face in his palm. And kissed me.
"Addi?!" Only two people in the world called me that. My father and my best friend.
