Corey pov

Seeing them kiss made my eyes sting.

"Hey Corey." Adria said awkwardly, as she pulled away from Devin.

"Are we ever gonna be able to finish our kiss?" Devin asked, smirking.

"No, you won't. Addi, can I talk to you?" I said.

"Sure. I'll meet you downstairs!" Adria said, before kissing Devin on his cheek.

"Meet you downstairs." Devin watched me as he walked out.

"Ana told me to tell you..."

"What?"

"Oh... Umm. I... Uh have a crush o-"

"Adria! Come down here!" Her mother yelled.

"I got to go down there. Stay for breakfast."

"No, I cant. I have to meet up with Ana. We are volunteering somewhere later."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye." I let myself out.

A little while later, Ana met me at Starbucks. "Hey, Ana." She had our hot chocolate's and handed me mine.

"Hey. You tell her yet?"

"No. When I got there, I found her kissing Devin and right before I told her, Lilli called her downstairs. I have no clue when I'm going to be able to tell her. I'm worried my chance with her is no longer." I looked down at the floor. "How am I supposed to tell her? Its never just us and her, its going to be us, her and him."

"Its okay. We'll find a chance to get her alone. In the mean time, we have an animal shelter to volunteer at.

After the 4 hours of volunteer work, I invited Ana and Adria over. Adria ended up asking if Devin could come over. Ana said she would distract him while I talked to Adria.

"Hey guys, come in. Make your way to the basement." My basement had foosball, air hockey and a lot of video games.

"Wanna play some one on one, Devin?" Ana asked.

"Sure." They made there way over to the foosball table.

"So what did you want to say earlier?" Adria asked.

"Can we go somewhere more private?" I asked.

"Sure." We went up to my room and sat down on my bed.

"I... Umm... I like you Addi. I have ever since we were 13 and became best friends. Ana always tried to get me to tell you, but I always chickened out." My face was getting hot and I was afraid of her response.

"I liked you. But when I thought you just wanted to be friends I learned to accept it. That's when I began to like Devin. You're late, should have said it 2 years sooner." She said. "I need to go. Let me tell the guys in the basement."

I laid back, contemplating why I hadn't told her sooner.

"Didn't go well?" Ana asked.

"Not at all." I said. Laying in complete shock, I didn't want to move.
