"Adria? Come here!" My mom yelled. I stepped in the door way. "Why are you late?"

"Something happened. I... Uhh don't really wanna talk about it." I was fidgeting with my hands and looked at the floor.

"Corey actually called me to tell me what he saw. I was hoping you'd elaborate."

"Why did Corey call you?"

"Because he said he was worried about you. He said you've been distancing yourself from everyone. What's been going on with you, Adria?"

"I can't, won't, don't want to talk about it."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah."

"Give me a hug."

"Mommmm!" I groaned.

"I just want to know that you're okay." She said, pulling me into a hug.

"I love you, mom."

"I love you too, Adria." She smiled at me. I gave her a weak smile and headed off to my room.

I wanted to talk to my best friend, explain everything. But he was right, I was distancing myself from anyone and I truly enjoined the alone time while it lasted.

"Adria?!" Devin said. He entered my room, his eyes filled with concern.

"Yes..."

"What was Corey talking about when he called me?"

"Nothing... It was nothing."

"So what Luke did to you was nothing?"

I looked at the floor. "Can we just not talk about that?"

"Fine, then what do you want to talk about."

"Why you're here."

"I'm here because I was concerned for you. Your my girlfriend, I care about you a lot." Now, he was sat right next to me. "And I asked your mom if I can spend the night." He said, holding up a small duffle bag.

"You should just leave some stuff here."

"Yeah."

"What do you want to do?"

"This." He leaned into me and kissed me, gently, slowly deepening the kiss.

We stood up without breaking the kiss and closed the door. He pinned me up against the wall. When we broke the kiss we were both gasping for air. I was still pinned up against the wall.

"Well, that was a good idea." I said smiling.

"Was it?" He smirked at me. "Let's just talk now." He said checking the time.

"Okay, I'll go get changed.

All Devin wore was some pajama pants, but to be fair, my pajama shorts were short. When I walked back into my bedroom, and shut the door,  Devin wouldn't stop starring at my legs.

"Devin?" I said.

"What?" He said, still starring.

"Stop looking at my legs."

"You shouldn't have worn those shorts then."

"Your half naked, your point?"

"You have long legs."

"Thanks, Captain Obvious. We should just lay down and talk."

"Okay."

I got in the bed first, I shut the light off, and was facing away from Devin. I heard the sheets move and a second body get in. The gap between Devin and my bodies was closed, and Devin wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I hope you liked being kicked if you're going to be this close." I said.

"You won't kick me. You don't want to hurt me." He was right, I don't want to hurt him. He put his face in the crook of my neck and fell asleep.
