"Assalamu alaikum." Baba greeted and we all answerd in unison. Except for my mum, I noticed her brows tighted a bit when he walked in.

My lips curled up in a smile as my father walked in wearing a buttoned up Tee and dark pants. Our eyes met and he smiled walking towards me.

My mother's hands that were once on my shoulders left me and my Father got closer to. I looked behind me and I noticed she was almost at the other end of the room. "Daddy." I streched my hands from my sitting position and he hugged me back squatting down a little. "My Bibi." It was the name my parents call me ever since i was little 'Bibi'.

"How was the trip to cross river. I thought you said you wouldn't be back until.- oh I forget it's 2018 now...What ever I was thinking was in 2012." My Dad gave me a confused look. Turning his gaze to Abdullah

"She doesn't remember anything from 2012 October 8th. To 28th october 2018." Abdullah spoke when Dad looked at him. I sat there and kept mum. It was hard to take in but I am starting to get used to it, And just accept fate.

"So. Amnesia." He asked and I nodded with a soft sigh. "What was the last thing you remember." Even though it is the most frequently asked question. I sometimes don't like to think of that mermory. "I was going to take a nap." I simply replied, Right after my step mother seized my Phone shouted at me and cussed at me. But my dad didn't need to know that.

I mean it happened six years ago. I just had to Let Bygones be bygones.

"Have you eaten." I chuckled. "I have, Daddy. Have you?." I asked and he nodded his smile deepening. "Did you come from home?."

"No. I flew in from lagos."

"Oh why. Is is work again.?"

"No it wasn't work. I went there for a conference."

"Oh really. Mum just flew in from Egypt aswell." I informed him and he smiled looking at Mama but all she did was maintain her straight face looking away from us. I know deep down inside she wants to leave the room, Ever since there divorce Mama didn't want to ever see Dad again and i don't think she has until today.

"Baba. Baba da pellel jodugo." Yahya stood up from his position and Baba shook his head. "A andi mi nin soja en ko ha na yeyu min don wawa darugo neiba"

[Baba da pellel jodugo|| Baba bave a seat please]
[A andi mi nin soja en ko ha na yeyu min don wawa darugo neiba|| it's alright. You know we miltary men even at our old age we can stand for hours.]

I and Yahya chuckled because we were clearly the only ones who understood what baba said. And my mother who didn't crack a smile. "I am amazed by this Amenisa, so tell me What was the last thing you remember of me. Let me see how far back you are." I placed my finger on my jaw trying to crack my brain.

"You said you have to go to Yola I think for that conference with the president. Concerning the budget on machinery." My Dad and I are pretty close he tells me everything, But he changes when my Step mother is around. Dad froze thinking. "With Good luck Jonathan? How did you remember so accurately."

I smiled. "You told me last week before you left and you said you wouldn't be back untill December."

"Wow. I can't put my finger on that day. But I think with time I might remember." I half smiled. We heard a knock on the door and a woman in white strolled in pushing a table cart with food all covered with a sliver top.

"Good morning Mrs Ihsan." She smiled at everyone. "Should I opened them up for you." I nodded because I was starving. Well not so much. She took the sliver lid off and on the first plate were mashed potatoes. It didn't look appealing to the eye, So I already canceled my mind on eating it.
