CHAPTER 46: HYPNOTIZED

Ya rukky drove into a two story cream coloured building. I looked towards the main door as it opened up, someone came out from it fixing her black veil.

A very tall and skinny lady came towards the car. "That's the Sa'adatu?" Ya rukky nodded taking off her seatbelt. "I thought you said you have seen her before." I nod. "But she was seated." I didn't know she was this tall. And dark.

We came down and Sau came and hugged us both. She smelt like musk. A very strong one that could block your nostrils and I mean this in a good way.

I quickly turned to John and I see him drop down and he gained a wave from Sau.

"Please let's go in. It is soo very hot." She fans her face walking into the beautiful house. "Its not really hot. It's because it's been long you came back." Ya rukky jokes.

Turns out Sau was the same age as Abdullah and Ya rukky was two years older than them. "Let me get my self water." Ya Rukky excused her self. Seems like she knows her way around here. "Ihsan. You remember me right? We met at Adilah's wedding?" I furrowed my brows trying to act like i wasn't sure. But deep down I was just thinking of her and how I nearly threaten her via text. "Erm. I think I do you were talking to Abdullah." She nodded beaming.

"How is your Daughter. Abdullah tells me alot about her. And you too." She added the last part Abruptly As if she didn't want me to take offense.

When Abdullah has never even mentioned her to me. "Likewise." I lied looking away from her to my phone.

"Would you like some water." I shook my head. "I am okay. thank you." There was an awkward silence between us. And when she was looking elsewhere all I could do was stare at her. This woman clicked every box for the perfect woman.

Tall. No. Very tall. About 5'11 or 6'1
Beautiful.
Smart.
Honest.
Even though I barely know her I could tell she was funny.

Now I don't blame my self for being jealous. My train of thought came into a halt when my phone vibrated in my hands I looked at it and it was Aisha calling. I pressed on mute and looked back at Sau.

Which i caught staring at me.

"So what do you do?" I rose my brow. "Oh. Er i was an Ophthalmologist at Raygem Hospital."

"Was? What happened?" She pauses face palming her self. "I forgot you have Amnesia. Sorry I asked that." She half smiled. "It is okay, I actually feel normal like nothing happened. Because everything is blank" She made an O shape with her lips. And made a sad smile.

"I always see in movies like when they hit their head and get Amnesia, they need to hit their head again. And gain the mermory." I smiled.

"Maybe i would give it a try?." I replied.

She shook her head. "No i don't advice that." She chuckles.

Then silence creeped its way.

She opened her mouth to speak when ya rukky appears. "Okay we have 30mins to talk the school closes in 45mins." We both nodded.

"So Sau." She clapped her hands. "Ihsan knows about the smoking." Her brows rose. "Well that makes our job a whole lot easier." Darn her British accent was strong.

I told them everything I knew about Abdullah's smoking. Removing the fact that we had a misunderstanding last night

"Well i thought it would be worse. Turns out he has been taking my word of advice." She smiled.
