REMINDER: It’s been a little over two month’s since Jackie has seen her family. She’s living with Nathan, she’s now 4 moths pregnant, today is the say she finds out the gender of the babies! Also, the names of the babies will be revealed! ENJOY!!! 

“Today’s the day!” Nathan said trying to wake me up.

“Nathan, its 6 a.m i’m tired.” I rolled back over in bed.

“Your appointment is at 8, remember?” He poked my shoulder. “Come on, get up! I’ll make breakfast.” I rolled my eyes, dragging myself out of bed. “Look at your baby bump! It’s so cute!” I smiled at him, holding my stomach. 

“Isn’t it?” i waddled into the bathroom, my bladder isn’t the same thanks to the babies. I could hear the bacon on the pan, and almost taste it in my mouth. I walked out of the bathroom, Nathan was cooking breakfast. “It smells great!” I walked up behind him putting my head on his back.

“I honestly can’t wait to find out today!”

“Me either babe.” I leaned against the counter. “I have a feeling there boys, i’m not sure why. There are too many girls in my family anyways. I’ve always wanted a son, two would be amazing!” 

“Me too, but a daughter would be nice.” He flipped the pancakes. “Its almost ready. I’m going to take a shower while you eat.” He made my plate, “Here babe” He kissed me before he walked into the bathroom. 

“Thank you!” I yelled out to him. “Oh god this is so good!” But then again, i eat anything now. I use to hate mustard, now i crave it! It’s the weirdest thing. When i finished i got dressed. It’s now December, but it was nice in Miami, i put on a pair of jeans, and  i short sleeved purple shirt. I wasn’t trying to get all dressed up, i was only going to the doctors, then i planned on going to see Chris and Vivian. It was 7:30. “Nathan, hurry up we need to go!” He came into the room with only a towel. “Come on, hurry up please. We have 30 minutes to get there!”

“Calm you nips Jackie, i’m almost ready.” I rolled my eyes grabbing my purse. “Give me ten minutes, and i’ll be done.” 

“I’ll go start the car.” As i walked down the stairs, my downstairs neighbor walked out of her apartment. 

“Aw, you’re starting to show! What are you having?!” Her eyes lit up. She was an older lady, maybe in her 50’s. 

“Twins, i’ll find out the sex of them today.” i smiled as she rubbed my bumps.

“Girls as so much easier,” She warned me, “But there’s nothing like a nice son.” She walked behind me down the stairs. “Any names you’re thinking of?”

“A few, we like Dalton, Maria, Giannini, Leanne, Xavier.”

“I like Dalton, a unique name.” I walked her to her car, opening her door. “I’ll see you around, good luck, and congratulations.”

“Thank you honey.” Nathan walked out of the buildings front door.

“Come on Jackie, we need to go!” I waved to the lady as she drove off. Nathan opened the passenger door for me. He sped off to the doctors office. When we arrived there was no one in the waiting room, and we were 5 minutes late. 

“I’m glad you two made it!” Dr. Fitzgerald walked out in the waiting room, waving us into the back. “Are you ready to find out what you’re having?!” He smiled, patting the table. “Lay back Jackie.” I lifted up my shirt, showing my stretch marks. 

“Will i always have these?” I said pointing to them. He put the gel under my belly button. 

“Yes, unfortunately, but its a reminder you brought a life into this world, it’s not that bad if you think about it.” He looked up at the ultrasound screen. “The baby on the top, right here-” He pointed ”It’s a boy.” my eyes started to water. “The one on the bottom-” He pointed, looking hard. “It looks like a girl, i’m almost positive.” He took the picture, handing it to me. “Any names?” Nathan looked at me.
