"Babe come on! Get up!" Nathan said nudging me while I was on the couch.
"No! Stop, my back hurts."
"Oh shut up, you always say that." he put his hand on my lower back helping me off of the couch.
"Why are you making me get dressed?" I asked walking to the bedroom.
"Because, I want to bring you out to eat. Now hurry please." I rolled my eyes as I changed my shirt and put on a pair of black maternity jeans, and a purple shirt. I walked into the bathroom to wash my face and put my hair up in a neat ponytail. Then I applied eyeliner to the my bottom lid, and mascara of the top lid.
"I'm ready." I walked into the living room to see Nathan and Justin dressed and ready.
"Alright, let's go then!" Nathan took my hand as we left out the front door.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked as Nathan opened the car door for me.
"It's a surprise." Justin said, sitting in the back seat.

"Alright, come on." Nathan said opening my car door. Justin was standing next to him.
"Why are we at a hall? I thought we were going out for lunch." I questioned.
"There's food here obviously." he took my hand as the three of us walked through the front entrance. As soon as I walked in, I saw blue and pink balloons, and I came to a realization, it was my baby shower. I held back the happy tears I walked into out rented room. Everyone was waiting there, and yelled "Surprise!" when I walked in. My mom was sitting down in the back corner with my great aunt Lucy, my cousin John and his son Zander. Lynn and Diana were the first to greet the three of us, giving us big hugs, and a kids on the cheek.
"Look how big!" Diana said, putting her tiny hands on my bump "I haven't seen you in a while!"
"I know! It's been to long!" I made my way around the room, greeting family I haven't seen in years. I also introduced everyone to Nathan and Justin. I finally made my way to the back of the room where my mother was.
"Hey aunt Lucy." I bent over to kiss her cheek. My mom looked a lot better, she was still wearing a bandanna over her head, her clothes seemed to fit better.
"Hey mom." I forced a smile, I kissed her cheek, she never spoke a word, she barely cracked a smile. "John-" I hugged him. "And look how big you've gotten!" I pinched Zander's cheek. "How old is he?" I sat down next to him.
"He'll be one in January." John bounced him on his lap. "Time flys, it feels like he was born only yesterday."
"Where's your wife, her names Julie right?"
"Yeah. She's working, couldn't make it. She told me to congratulate you." I got off of the chair.
"Tell her thanks." I smiled, walking over to the buffet of food, making my plate. Then someone came up behind me, putting there hands on my stomach, I turned around to see Chris. "Hey! Thanks for coming!" I smiled, giving my brother a hug.
"I wouldn't miss this for the world." he said into my ear. I looked behind him to see Ryan and his mom. "I'm surprised Ileana is here." I said to Chris as he walked me to my seat.
"Me too actually. But she use to baby sit you when you were a kid."
"True-" I sat down "I'll talk to you later." he smiled and nodded as he walked away. Nathan, Justin, my two sisters, and I had our own table set up in the front of the room. Next to us was a huge pile of boxes, and decorative bags. It felt like Christmas, except the present weren't directly for me.
