It was a normal Saturday morning.
You were at work, your shift 10-2 on tills.
You don't particularly love your job but it's a job and it pays well, you could do worse.
You serve so many customers and see so many faces, it's draining and your mouth gets dry from all the "do you want a bag?"
"Do you want to keep your hangers?"
"Are you paying by cash or card?"
All that jibber jabber that your repeat endlessly.
Well this day was about to get a whole lot more exciting.
You were serving a customer who did a big shop. 5 bags full.
When you hear a tannoy.
"The shop will not be serving customers for a 30 minutes. Feel free to keep browsing"
This is was strange this had never happened in the movies or in any shop like ever.
The supervisor called everyone over. I stood with Tiffany. My friend who also works on tills.
We looked at each other confused.
The supervisor Tessa says "we have a little surprise"
Everyone was curious.
You were looking at the floor when you heard familiar voices. "Yo" that's all you need to know who's voice that was.
Sounds like Brandon Arreaga. It can't be you thought. You looked up.
Oh my life. No way. It's prettymuch.
You legit felt like dying.
Your heart began beating fast you were sure everyone could hear it.
Your jaw dropped and Tiffany looked at you.
"Do you know these?"
"Yeh course I do! I love them"
You screamed "I love them" louder than you realised and everyone looked at you.
"Oops"
"Guys this is PrettyMuch and well they have a little proposition for someone in here." Tessa said.
"So, we heard there's a girl here who's a fan of us"
I don't think anyone else knows them.
"She's got blonde hair"
A few of us have blonde hair.
"She has green eyes"
Two of us have green eyes and blond hair
"She's 5"4 and a dancer"
That's me. Wait no. It can't be.
"I'm sure by now she knows exactly who she is."
Tiffany pushed you forward.
"Her names Clarissa" they looked at your badge. You looked at your lanyard, you had forgotten your own name.
Omg it's you.
"Hi (y/n)" Austin said
"H..h....h...hi" You said back.
"So our little proposition is, you can come hang with us for the day, we can go shopping do anything and you can stop in our hotel for the night and you can bring a friend" nick said.
"WOW, wait what?" You were shocked, did that come out of Nicks mouth. You must've misheard.
"Are you joking?" You asked.
"No" Zion answers.
"Omg this is amazing." Then you realise your at work.
You need the money you can't afford to leave and not get paid for today.
"You have no idea how much I want I say yes to this amazing opportunity but I can't. I need to work, I need the money, I can't afford to take this time off. I'm sorry but I love you guys"
You say. You were so hurt that you had to say no to this once in a lifetime experience.
"Oh that's sad" Edwin chirped up.
"Well I guess we'll see you around sometime?" Brandon says
Tills opened again.
You went back to your till, resenting the fact you needed the money.
You didn't notice Nick hand a little piece of paper to Tessa who came and tapped you on the shoulder and gave you a price of paper.
The paper read.
Dear (y/n),
We are pleased to tell you, you made the correct choice. We wanted to see if you job came before your love. You passed. Also this means you get to spend a whole weekend with us instead of just a day. You are so dedicated. We also know your planning on moving to LA so I'm glad you chose to work, because when you move to LA you can hang with us whenever. It will be amazing. Can't wait to see you next next Friday for a whole weekend full of fun and laughter.

Thats was the day your life got so much better.
You became best of friends with PrettyMuch, you spoke everyday. You moved to LA. You're dreams have all come true.
Oh and I didn't say. You and nick have been together for 3 years now and are getting married in November.
Who could wish for a better life.
I had no inspiration, so I know this is really bad. It as made up as I was writing it.
