"As much as I used to miss this stupid voice, I was begging for it to leave already. It was just like a second Ariel and trust me, one was hard enough to handle. Sirius, why are you so mean to Kreacher? Why can't you be the better person. Sirius, why are you so mean. Sirius this, Sirius that.

It was easy enough to say that I got sick of it fast. I'm pretty sure this voice wasn't supposed to be here. I mean, if people knew, they'd think I'm mental. You're not supposed to talk to yourself inside your head on a daily basis, never mind argue with yourself on a daily basis.

"Ariel is much nicer than Master Sirius, Master Sirius is mean to Kreacher. Ariel is nice and Kreacher likes being treated nicely but Ariel is a blood traitor, friends with that filthy, dead mudblood. But Master Regulus liked filthy dead mudblood too. Kreacher is confused as to whether he should like Ariel or n-" Kreacher's rants were soon cut off by none other than myself.

"Shut up, Kreacher. Just because Ariel wants you to stay, doens't mean I won't throw you out when she's sleeping," I said, taking a seat in one of the armchairs. They were my mother's old ones but Ariel and I were planning on getting new furniture soon seeing as we can't find a better house to live in. Well, we could, but someone has to stay here to keep Ariel safe. Death Eaters are everywhere and I'm not risking losing her again. No matter what, I will not let her get away from me again.

"Master Sirius tells Kreacher to shut up. Kreacher does not like being told to shut up but he must listen to Master Sirius because he is Kreacher's Master. But then-" Kreacher started mumbling again, causing the headache now implanted in my brain to grow even more so than when he was mumbling before. I groaned and rubbed the bridge of my nose, trying to calm myself and restrain from strangling him. I know for a fact, the second my arms warp around his neck will be the minute Ariel walks in.

"For the love of Godric, shut up, you goddamn house elf!" I roared before Kreacher started mumbling again. I was already sick of him, he brought back to many bad memories of when I had lived here and I hated him for it. Living in this house was the worst experience of my life. "Just... go. NOT anywhere outside the house, just some other room in here."

I had learned to be careful about what I was saying to Kreacher. The last time I didn't speak clearly, Ariel almost died. Just shows you how seriously house elves take pride in their house. Kreacher, for example, was brought up as a house elf, learning that dark arts were the way to go and that pure-blood ranked above anything else. That those who were muggle-borns or were friends with muggle-borns were to be discriminated against. In the end, the house elf takes this stuff more seriously than even a child of the house (A.K.A me).

But one thing I have learned about house elves is that their attitude towards everything depends on the master. For another example, Harry's friend, Dobby. He was treated like dirt on the back of one of the Malfoy's shoes. Kreacher had been brought up by mother not necessarily with love and care but with somewhat pride. Not pride of the house elf himself but pride of how easily he obeyed her. Dobby was not given this respect, therefore he does not like his masters. Which is the reason why he betrayed them. It all depends on how the master treats the house elf as well.

The main reason I've given up on Kreacher is because when a house elf is brought up one way, it's not very likely to change its ways because of a new master. A lot like bringing up a pure-blooded child. You teach it all your life who scum in the wizarding world is and who is friend-worthy. As the child grows up, they learn to hate this scum or they learn to disappoint their family by becoming friends with tha scum (A.K.A me). From then on, its hard to make them change their minds. That child will most likely either hate that scum for the rest of his/her life or be friendly with those people for the rest of his/her life.
