Annabeths pov
We walk into the school and i get tackled by Piper who's smiling like a nut job "Soooo we need to talk" she looks at Percy smiling and drags me away "Soo what happened?! Are you guys dating!? Did you guys even kiss??" I shake my head "None of the above" she pouts "Bit you didn't answer yesterday and i thought something happened "No we went ice skating then to Chili's then we fell asleep doing hw" she claps "My ship is still sailing one way or another" i groan as i walk back to everyone else I walk up next to Percy and stop dead in my tracks. Piper looks at me "Annabeth what's wrong??" Percy hears her and looks over "Annabeth??" I shake my head and run away from everyone shouting after me in concern. I hide in the girls bathroom. Soon i hear people walk in "Annabeth??" I shake my head "Go away Percy I'm fine" he opens my stall somehow and sees me balled up sitting on the floor "Please tell me what's wrong" i look down and close my eyes "I saw Luke and got scared I'm sorry i scared you" i open my eyes and he looks pissed but looks like he is trying to hide it . "It probably wasn't him your probably still shaken up from yesterday" i nod "Probably. Let's go" He helps me up and we walk out getting a couple glances and whispers from people. We walk back to the group and Piper hugs me "I was worried what happened" i shake my head "I just thought i saw-" i don't finish my sentence she knows who and she nods. "I understand" she walks me over next to Percy and she's with Jason and we all talk. I catch a few glances with Percy before the bell rings. Percy hugs me at my locker and says "Text If you see him or think you do or just need something" i nod as he heads down to his first period and i head down to mine.

First period was okay. But second period worst day of my life and that's saying something. I sit down in class and wait for Piper to come in and sit next to me. Instead Luke walks in and smiles when he sees me I text Percy "He's here help i don't know what to do I'm in math and he's sitting down next to me" Luke sits down next to me "Long time no see Annie" i look away "Don't long time no see me Luke" he sighs "You know i was trying to be nice" i sigh "You should have tried to be nice when we were 13" i get grabbing my things and walking out of the classroom. I hear him call out my name. As i walk out and head to the girls bathroom i sit on the counter when i hear my phone buzz i check my messages it's from Percy 'Where are u?! What happened??" "Girls bathroom I'll switch to boys if you want" about 2 minutes later Percy walks into the girls bathroom slightly cautiously. He sighs when he sees me. He sits on the counter next to me "Want to talk?" I shake my head "Not really i just wanted to escape that class" he nods "Got it, McDonald's till 3rd period?" I hop off the counter "Let's go"
Percy's POV
We head back to the school and get there just as 3rd period starts we say bye and rush off. I head into English and zone out. When lunch hits I meet Annabeth outside of PE i walk with her to lunch and for the most part we walk in silence. We get to our table and sit down, apparently Jason invited someone new no idea who he is. Annabeth takes in a sharp breathe i turn to her "What's wrong" she shakes her head "Thats Luke and don't make a big deal out of it please" Jason laughs at something and I look up and Jason seems to process that i am here now "Oh Percy! This is Luke Castellan. And Luke this is Perseus Jackson he goes by Percy" he both say hi and they go back to talking. And i look at Annabeth she is tapping her foot nervously "Hey it's one lunch you'll be fine, right?" She nods "Right" i smile "Good cause I want to talk to you" She raises an eyebrow "So i was thinking since you have no idea how to skate what so ever-" she glares at me for a moment "I have some idea how to 'It's just like walking'" she makes air quotes and i laugh "Anyway i was thinking every Saturday we go ice skating and i can teach you how to" she sighs "I guess so but under one condition" i raise an eyebrow "Okay" "Hot chocolate or chili's afterwards " she holds out her hand "Deal?" I grab her hand and shake "Deal" she smiles and goes back to her food "And just because you got me to agree don't think your head isn't filled with any less seaweed then before" i laugh "Okay wise girl" i go back to my food with everyone talking around me. Luke looks over at Annabeth "So Annie i think we should catch up how about this Saturday?" She stiffens and shakes her head keeping it down "Busy" he sighs "Right your stupid dance, Sunday?" She shakes her head again "Busy and dance isn't stupid if it was i wouldn't be doing it, it's only stupid to you because your dead in the head" I stifle a laugh it Leo on the other hand burst out laughing his head off and Jason joins in "Dude she burned you" I look over at Luke and he's glaring at me "So are you and Percy dating?" She shakes her head "Good friends" she takes a bite of her leftover Chili's and looks up at Luke "And i would greatly appreciate it if you would stop hitting on me" Lukes face turns sour and I feel his eyes on me the entire time. Finally the bell rings and me and Annabeth head over to Science.
