Percys pov

We walk into science and sit down, me and annabeth set up like we usually do, notes on the side with annabeths pencil bag and the space empty infront of us. Ms. Ramirez walks in and starts babbling away so me and annabeth starts taking notes, I grab one of her pencils and a couple different colored pens, annabeth told me it was a good way to take notes, if certain things stand out your head will see it different so you will probably remember it. That class flies right by and then me and annabeth head our seperate ways, I head to swim since it is a required class for me. The class also flies right by and me and Annabeth at the enterance she seems giddy. "What happened??'" she looks at me smiling big "My dads coming home today and Im super happy its been almoast 5 monthes since I last saw him" she rushes to the car and I follow her kinda nervous, I know im not dating Annabeth but what if he doesnt like me? I get in and start driving back to her place, when we get there, theres another car annabeth runs out of the car ditching her backpack, I grab hers plus mine and follow her in, when I get in shes hugging her dad over in the dining room and mom is sitting on the other side, he was probably talking with her. I close the door and he looks up "Ah you must be Perseus" I nod "Yea thats me but I usually go by Percy" he nods still hugging annabeth, "You got hw kiddo?" Annabeth nods and her dad pulls away "Wont want to stop you from it" she nods going up the stairs I follow her as I hear him and my mom start chatting again. Ananbeth flops down on the bed "Happiest day ever" I laugh "Do you say that everytime he comes home?" she nods "Yep" she sits up and gestures for her bag, I hand it to her and she gets out her hw while I get out mine.

After a couple of hours we finish our hw, and we head down stairs for something to eat, well at least I am not sure if annabeth is just following or getting one or seeing her dad again. She grabs an apple and jumps on the counter after a couple tries. I smirk and grab an apple hopping on the oppisite counter in one try. She glares at me "You know not everyone is 6,5" Percy" I smirk "I know but its easy to tease someone thats 5'1"" she takes a bite of her apple crossing her legs and I copy her. She glares at me and leans forward, she starts to say something but falls off hitting the back of her head on the counter. I jump off and check on her "Percy im fine I just hit my head" I make her lean her head forward and I check it "Percy Im fine" theres a forming bruise "Theres a bruise" I let annabeth bring her head up "Omg theres a bruise its the end of the world" she over dramatically uses her hands her voice dripping with sarcasm we both end up sitting on the floor laughing our heads off. We stop and look each other only to start laughing again. My mom walks in with annabeths dad and Sally just sighs "Again you two?" we look at her and then at each other and start laughing again Sally sighs 'Dinner come on out" we get up and walk out still laughing up to her room. We are out of breathe from laughing to death so we just plop down on her bed.

The rest of the night flies by and Im just falling asleep on the couch when I hear annabeth scream. I bolt up to her room and already to her room when the parents come out, I try to open it, locked, I hear aloud bang and another scream. I bolt out of the house to where her window is. I jump up just barely grabbing her window seal then haul myself in. Annabeth is curled up in a ballin the corner crying and theres a vase on the floor. I pull her onto my lap and she immidaitly clings to me "Annabeth wake up" she seems to calm down so I get up and move her. Then she screams again swinging her arm hitting my face. I pull her back onto my lap and try to make sure she cant hit me again the tears start to stream down her face and she starts sobbing and screaming for someone to stop, I already know who this someone is and I hate him but cant change the pat, sadly. I shake her  "Annabeth wake up" she opens her eyes bolting up, she takes inher surroundings then barries her face in my chest sobbing. "Its alright, no one is hurting you" between sobs she says "It felt so real though" I rub her back "I know" after an hour I hear her make a small snore. I lay her down and she lets me go this time, I carefully get up and walk out unlocking the door. My mom is in her room and her dad is leaning on the wall, when he sees me he bolts up "What happened??" I close the door "Night terror she knocked down a vase" he nods "She told you about those" I nod "One happened to her and she sceamed someone was hurting her. She promised shed tell me when she was ready to and she told me so... yea" he nods "Shes asleep??" I nod he does some kind of man hug thing "Thank you for taking care of her" I hug him back trying to make it seem non akward then he pulls away walking back to his room. I shake what just happened away and head back to the couch, falling asleep.

Annabeths pov

I wake up for a second time screaming. Im on percys lap. I half sigh half sob and barry my face into his chest clinging to him, and start crying, sobs included. He tries to calm me down and as always it works, his voice is usually soothing along with his ocean scent, very calming. I can still remember the dream. Me and luke were coming back to my place from a party. We were both a bit drunk and my dad was away. He pulled me onto the couch and started to kiss me, I have been happy all day which was a very very rare thing. Then out of know where he throws me onto the glass coffee table, It shattering causing me to fall onto the floor glass everywhere "Luke- What?" he picks me up gingerly "Change back or I leave" I feel tears come down my face "Please dont leave please" he pushes me to the floor "WHY?! YOUR DEPRESSED AND NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT YOU DONT EAT AND DONT THINK I DONT SEE THE CUTS ON YOUR WRISTS AND YOUR THIGHS" I feel myself sob harder "This will change you" he slaps me and kicks my ribs I feel the air get sucked out of my lungs "STOP YOUR HURTING ME" he kicks me again before taking off his belt "No Luke- think about what your doing" he glares at me like im nothing "Im trying to get my girlfriend back" he whips my back and I scream out in pain right before waking up. I sob in Percys chest the scarred wounds burning from the memory. I feel my eyes droop I cling to percyas tight as I can before the world goes black.

I wake up to my alarm exhasted I roll over and turn it off then roll over again to only meet someones chest. I looks up and see Percy still sound asleep. I carefully crawl out of bed to shower. I shower get dressed etc. Then come out of the bathroom Percy is still snoring away. I sigh and walk over to him shaking him "Percy wake up" he stirs "Noo I dont wanna go to school" he rolls over and I laugh to myself hes acting like hes five and I shake him again "Wake up Percccyyyy 20 minutes till we have to leave" he rolls over and looks at me half asleep the rolls back over. i sigh and switch sides of the bed 'I tried to warn you" he open one eye before I push him off the side with a loud thud "Owww" he gets up and heads to the bathroom and I clean up his mess of sheets and pillows and pillow cases. As soon as I finish he comes out in a towel around his waist to grab his clothes I try not to stare but I think I fail..... miserably. i head down stairs to a note on the table with a pair of car keys. "Sorry I had to leave before I could give this to you its outside" My eyes widen as I take the car keys and run out the door. Right infront of me is a grey Mclaren P1 I let out a squeal and start jumping. Percy comes out 2 seconds later and sees me jumping like a lunitic "PERCY LOOK AT MY NEW CARRR IM SOO HAPPYYY" he laughs "I can tell cmon we are taking it to school" I give him the keys and run to the passengers side opening the door and looking at the interior. I gasp and so does percy as we get In just lookng at the car. He starts the engine and it sounds awesome. "I think im in love with this car" I laugh as he drives us to a long day of school.
