Waffle War

Percys Pov

I wake up by annabeth shaking me. "Yeah?" She sighs "I almost thought you were dead it's 11" i sit up "It's 11?" She nods "Is my mom awake?" She shakes her head "She's looking for a new job" I stretch and yawn "Okay" she goes to the kitchen "Want something to eat??" I get up and walk over there "What do you have?" She goes over to the fridge "Food" I sigh "That's helpful" she laughs "Look your self if you don't want my sarcasm" she closes the fridge and hops onto the counter after a couple tries "I look in the fridge and grab the stuff for waffles "Do you have a waffle maker?" "Below cabinet" she points to it and i grab the waffle maker. I start to heat it up and make the mix, she helps out, i grab the food die and put some blue in. Annabeth looks at me "What are you doing?" "Making them blue" "Ummmm why?" I sigh "My mom always competed with Gabe that blue food isn't a thing and since she was my mom i followed her so i eat blue food" she makes a hmp sound "sounds interesting" i finish mixing it and i put it in the waffle maker and close it "And now we cook them" she laughs "No duh seaweed brain" i raise an eyebrow "What did you call me?" "Seaweed brain, your brain is made up of seaweed"  i laugh "Okay now I'm gonna have a nickname for you" "And what nickname is that?" I take a moment to think "Wise Girl" she laughs "Okay seaweed brain" i take the waffle out and put a new one in annabeth takes it and makes a face at me "It better be good" she takes a bite of it and a lot of liquid comes out of it with a mouth full of gooey waffle she says "It's uncooked" i laugh she dumps the uncooked part on the floor "It's hollow!" She laughs "You really are a seaweed brain" the timer buzzed and i go to take it out "Leave it in for longer" she holds up the hollow one that she is still eating "So you like it?" She takes another bite "No" i laugh and smell something burning I take out my waffle "It died" Annabeth laughs "You only needed to leave it in for like 30 seconds tops" i mumble something and she laughs "Your like a giant sized baby sometimes" i pout "And your a miniature sized internet all the time" she laughs as i pour more waffle batter into the maker and take it out when it's done. Annabeth goes to the bathroom in her room so i make more batter and crack her room door and rest the batter on top of it. I'm so dead. She comes out and gets soaked in batter "PERSEUS JACKSON!!!" She comes running down the stairs and i hide "WHERE ARE YOU YOU LITTLE-!!" She stops short and when she sees me she's holding the other batter "uh-oh" i go scrambling into the living room as she throws it at me and it gets in my hair. I trip over  a laundry basket and Annabeth is standing over me, she knew I'd run this way, she puts the batter over my head "ITS COLD STOP IT!! SPARE ME!!" She shakes her head "Never" my mom walks in "What in the hades you two?!" Annabeths stares at her as she continues pouring batter on me "Hi Mrs Jackson" she mumbles something about teenagers and head upstairs "Clean up and get there groceries put away" once the door is closed we start laughing. Then annabeth heads up to shower once she tells me where the cleaning supplies are. This was gonna be long

Annabeths pov

Once I tell percy where the cleaning supplies are I head to my room to shower. I undress and put on one of my favorite things, music. I put on my speaker in my bathroom and turn on my playlist, then I grab my extra bottle of conditioner just to make sure I have enough then head in. A couple of miutes later one of my favorite songs comes on Forgetting This by Elijah N. I start to sing along to it. I hear percy laughing in the backround and I stop singing, I forgot he was here, and I dont like singing infront of people. I use the rest of my old conditioner bottle plus a little bit of the new one. I then wash my body which still takes forever because of the stupid waflle batter. Finally I finish and step out wrapping myself in a towel, then I brush my hair and my teeth quickly, then I head to go get myself some clothes. I walk into my room to see percy looking at pictures on my nightstand, I walk past him to my closet I open it and remember that I am to short to reach majorty of the clothes, and I cant free clothe it and parkour my way through it. I reach up to grab it and feel my towel slipping off uh oh. i stop and re-adjust it. I feel percys eyes on my back and that makes my face heat up and go red. "Um can you help me" he comes over and grabs the grey shirt I was reaching for "That one" "Mhm" I grab it and my other clothes from my dresser and practically run to my bathroom that is still blasting music. I close the door and sigh that was awkward. I get dressed, In a dark gry long sleeved shirt with light grey leggings with black stripes on the sides that have are opened in a criss cross pattern near the bottom,and dry my hair, then head out of the bathroom so Percy can shower. He asks me if he can use eberything and I say yes to everything because its just shampoo and conditioner, hes just gonna smell like lemons for a while. I video call Piper "Hey Pipes!" "Annie!! Im so glad you called guess what!!!" "What?" she sighs "JASON ASKED ME OUT!!" "OMG THATS SO AWESOME WHATD YOU SAY!!??" I turn down my volume a little bit since it is on speaker but keep talking "UMM YES OBVIOUSLY" I clap so she can hear it "Im so happy for you Piper!!" she laughs "So hows it with percy??" I sigh "Well I figured somethimg out, I dont want to tell you till I know he allows it, but he's living with me till him and his mom can live comfortably again." "Aww thats sad! When did this happend?" "He just moved in last night" "Hows he taking it" "Pretty well, i think, he pranked me this morning when he was making blue waffles" "Im not gonna ask why they are called what they are called, but what did he do" "He cracked my door and put a bowl of batter in it so when I opened it it would fall on me, and it did, I just finished showering, percy is showering rn" she gigles "PERCY JACKSON IS SHOWERING IN YOUR HOUSE!!??" I hear percy laugh "PIPER!!" I hear him laugh again "WAS THAT HIM LAUGHING??HES IN YOUR BATHROOM??!!" Percy is just continuing to laugh "PIPER!! I swear I cant video call you on speaker. anymore" she laughs as percy comes out in a towel wrapped around his waist "I need clothes" Piper tries hard not to laugh she has her hands clamped over her mouth and her face is red I stare at him for a sec, has abs and his towel is barely on him, oh god he's hot. I feel myself blushing like crazy "Uhh- Y-yea. W-where are t-they" "On your couch" I run downstairs to the couch grab some of his clothes and head back upstairs and hand them to him "H-here" he heads back into the bathroom and Piper bursts out laughing. "Omg Annie that was hilarious you could barely say a word right!!" "S-shut up i gtg" I hang up and head downstairs to clean the kitchen and see that everything is clean and the dishwasher is running. I hear percy thudding his way down the stairs "You can really clean a kitchen" he laughs "And Piper can really embarass you" I mumble something under my breath and he laughs. I head to the living room and see percys bag of stuff there "You should unpack" he looks around "Where do I put it?" "I dont think my dad wants you anywhere near his room so not there, you can share a dresser with me, or you an share with your mom." he thinks for a sec "I'd rather my mom have a place of her own if youd ont mind "Not at all cmon" He grabs his bag and we head upstairs I change my drawers up a bit and he takes 2 of the 4 drawers available "And you can hang stuff if youd like" he shakes his head "I dont like to hang my clothes" I nod "What else do you have?" "Umm toothbrush, hairbrush, razor, my ring, my phone charger, shaving cream, photos" I look around ans see my empty board on the wall "You can hang your stuff on that" i point to it and he looks over and his face brightens "That works, got any tacks?" "Oh plenty" I go to my desk drawer and give him a box full of them he hangs his stuff on there, then we unpack the rest, he says he'll make lunch and heads downstairs, I flop onto my bed and not willingly, fall asleep.
