Percy's Pov

I pace across the room, everyone is here and her dad is flying in, why the hell would he do that?!? I mean I get he was drunk af but cmon!! "Percy come sit down please" I look over at my worried mom I shake my head "You've been pacing the room for 3 hours come sit please Percy" I shake my head she sighs "She'll be alright, she's strong" I stay quiet and continue doing what I've been doing, pacing, everything racing through my head

-Flashback-

I wake up to my phone ringing I answer it "Hello?" I hear Annabeth faintly talking to someone, at 4 am? I hear a loud bang and a man screaming, she talks again, I put it on speaker and start getting dressed, I hear him scream again, I grab my phone and basically run out the door, I get there around 15 minutes later. I see Annabeth and Luke at the top of the stairs, the house is a mess and there's a small dent in the wall at the bottom of the stairs. Luke turns around and shoves Annabeth away from him "WHY IS HE HERE?!?" "He forgot his jacket just ignore him" "YOU CALLED HIM DIDNT YOU?!?" "Luke I didn't call anyone" I can see the panic on her face, she knows if he doesn't calm down somethings gonna happen, and so do I "HE WOULDNT HAVE COME HERE OTHERWISE WHY AM I EVEN HERE?!" "Luke dont- he shoves her down the stairs, "ANNABETH!!" I bolt towards her she's basically at the bottom when I get to her. She's limp and has blood coming from her forehead, I feel tears in my eyes, I look up at him and he looks horrified "WHAT DID YOU DO!?!? PSYCHOPATH!!!" I grab my phone calling 911

-end of flashback-

I finally sit down next to my mom, tries talking to me but I dont say anything back to her, I just stare at my feet as tears fall down my face. Someone comes in and I see her Dad, I go back to staring at the floor, mom gets up and talks quietly with him on what happened, I see him look over at me and go back to her. I hear "Annabeth Chase" I look up and bolt off before anyone else can say otherwise. I walk into the room and see her head bandaged a breathing tube on her nose, and she's asleep. The nurse comes in after me "She's lucky" I look over at her "What do you mean?" "Well, she almost lost her kid" "So they are both okay?" "Yes, and do you know if Perseus Jackson is here? I need to talk with him about the details" "I'm Perseus" "Oh! Okay well, her baby is in a very delicate condition right now, you can't stress her out, don't let her get hurt around her torso region, especially like that again, don't have her on her feet and have her take these" "What are they?" "Pain killers, she fractured her ankle" I look over at her but I can't see it cause it's under the blanket "Okay" she leaves and I head over to her pulling a chair by her bed and sitting down grabbing her hand. I sigh resting my head on the bed and falling asleep. 

Annabeths Pov

I wake up and take in my surroundings, I'm in a hospital room, Percy is asleep by my bed, and it is noon... Okay. The nurse walks in "How you doin hun?" "I gesture to my head but I stumble on everything I try to say, "Ill get you some headache pills" I just stop trying to tel her since apparently she understood me, what even happened to put me in here. I see my dad rushing towards the room, he comes in immediately embracing me in a hug "Hows the baby? How are you? Are you okay?" "I hope so they haven't told me anything" Sally nods "Ill go talk to the nurse" "No need mom" I look over at Percy who still has his eyes closed on the bed, she stops "Okay.." "Ill explain details later but everyone's fine" I feel myself sigh in relief, I hear him snore, aaannd he's asleep. The nurse comes in and shoos everyone out for a minute, except Percy since he's asleep "Now take this" I take the pill with the water she gave me "Now you might want to know how everyone is doing" I nod "Your baby is perfectly fine, just in a very delicate state right now, you also fractured your ankle", I nod, explains why I can move it without hurting it "Now some new rules for you, keep off of your feet, no spicy foods, eating them wont harm it but its preferred, try your best not to let anything hurt and or bump your torso, just anything that can harm the baby, so nothing forced or pushing against your torso, we would like to check up on you once every two weeks, and take these if your ankle starts hurting, its a siple painkiller, you just cant buy it over the counter" I nod "Press that button over there if you need anything, if you want food you can dial the number taped on the phone to your left" I nod "Ill cya later" she leaves and I sigh, Im bored, very very relieved but bored. I drift off to sleep.

I wake up to yelling outside of my room, I see Percy trying to stop Like from getting inside the room. I just now realize how much smaller Luke is, around 2 inches shorter and a lot less muscular. Sally tries to stop them and sees me awake, she nods her head towards me to Piper, she comes in as Luke looks through the window that Piper closes, she comes over sitting on my bed "How are you doing?" "Fine but whats going on?" "Percy woke up got food, ate, came back up here, saw Luke and this started around 15 minutes ago" I nod "I'm stopping them" "No your not, Sally and Jason are working on it. I see Percy in the door and he slams it closed, I sigh an grab my phone. Piper raises an eyebrow "What are you doing?" "You'll see" I bring up Luke's contact and message him "Listen, I dont want to see you, you took it way to fucking far, so get the fuck out unless you want me calling security?" I hear the arguing stop and in around 5 minutes Percy comes in with his mom and Jason "Sorry about that" he comes over and kisses my forehead "Your being checked out tomorrow, and your dad left, he would have said bye but you were asleep, and he would've gotten fired if he didn't come in immediately" I nod "And my mom wants me to come home tonight just to do stuff and shower, and I have school tomorrow, your dad already called and said your not going tomorrow" I nod I turn on the tv and zone out into some movie
