Surprise Double-Holiday

Annabeths Pov

For two weeks now I've been only eating sleeping and going to school (Dad) and sleeping more, and sometimes doing homework, I'm showing more now so I've gotten questions about it I just say I'm gaining weight, so far it is working. Its Christmas Eve and I'm wrapping Percy's gift, I get gifts for everyone, it just took a bunch of money so I had to save up to get enough money for Percy's gift. I finish putting a bow on it write down his name and put it under the tree. It's 11 pm so about an hour till Christmas. I hear the timer beep and I immediately turn it off, everyone is asleep and I've been up making stuff and wrapping stuff. I pull the cookies out and put the other batch in, one for me one for "Santa", I dont believe in Santa but I'll have delicious cookies to eat in the morning so, yea. I grab a glass of milk and grab my plate of cookies and head out to continue watching Harry Potter. I set up on the couch as the timer beeps I groan get up quickly pull out the cookies put them on a plate on the counter and then head back out and set back up on the couch.

I wake up in the morning from my phone ringing "Hello??" "Hello, this is Will Solace am I speaking to Annabeth Chase" "Yes you are" "So I figured you may want to know this" "Okay?" "So I retook the tests cuz one of them seemed off, so the one determining the one for you kids dad re came in and it said it was, Percy Jacksons" I shoot up "What?!" "Hold on, so I took it one more time just to see which name came in again and it was the same name, meaning that something happened with the first one or something and we had the wrong name, we are still trying to figure out how, but we believe it may have been another's patients results on accident" I sigh "Umm Thank you" "No problem" "Well hope you have a Merry Christmas Ms Chase I will call you if anything is changed" "You too and thank you again" I hang up and lay back down on the couch. I look at the time. 9 am, how is no one awake yet? I go upstairs to my room and find that Percy is gone, I check my dad's room, gone, Sally's room, gone. What the fuck? I text Percy "Where is everyone?" he immediately responds "Surprise"  "What? How does that work?" "You'll see when we come home" I sigh "Fine but I have a gift for you too" "Okay Wise girl cya soon" "Yep" I go downstairs and clean up before plopping on the couch with my phone and cookies, I wait about an hour and they still aren't back yet, I text Percy "Where are you its been an hour" "I'll be back soon" "That's what you said an hour ago" "Ik but I mean it this time" "Okay just hurry up" he stops responding so I go back on Pinterest and continue scrolling through.

I finally hear a car and I look outside and there is the car, Percy gets out and comes inside "Follow me" he takes me to my room and closes and locks it behind him. "Why'd you do that" "To make sure you can't see" "Why can't I see??" "Because its a surprise" I groan "You guys are mean" he laughs "Okay Wise Girl" I wait about 30 minutes "Percy let me go out" "No" "I can't wait" "Well how about you give me your gift since you have to wait" "So WIll called this morning and he told me about a mix up at the hospital" he waits for me to continue "He retook tests and then he retook this certain one again until it was confirmed but" he continues waiting "He told me it's yours and not Lukes" his face lights up and he spins me around before putting me down kissing me he pulls away "And we are sure this time" "That's what I was told" he kisses me again just as Piper walks in "Alright... so it's done she can come down" we go downstairs and before I see anything Percy covers my eyes as he guides me "So Annie this is a double holiday for you but..." Percy uncovers my eyes "SURPRISE" I open my eyes to see everyone crowded around for a baby shower "Wait so everyone-?" "Everyone knows" Hazel comes up to me and hugs me "Congrats Annie!! But-" she pulls away "Whos the dad?" Piper tenses "Well everyone, and Piper, the hospital called today and the father is... Percy!!" Pioer smiles before tackling me in a hug with Hazel "I KNEW IT!!!" she fangirls for a bit, Until Sally and my dad come in with a cake "Omg guys really?" my dad shrugs "It doesn't matter if your 17 you deserve a baby shower" I read the cake it says easy old "Congratulations" Luke comes in seconds later and my dad takes a small glare at him, Luke walks over to me "Are you seriously still keeping this?" "Well since I just figured out you're not the dad then I guess it's not your business" he looks at me like 'What?!' "What do you mean I'm not the father?" "There was a mix-up your not the dad" he looks kinda pissed "Then who is?!" "I think your well aware of who it is" "Jackson?!" "Mhm" he sighs "Congrats Annie, but please dont tell me your still not talking to me" "It depends" he hands me a small box wrapped "That's your gift, I gtg cya" he leaves me with the small box. I take it upstairs and place it onto my dresser I'll open it later. I come down and Piper comes over "What was that about?" "He gave me something and left, I figured I'd open it later" she nods "Personal?" "Yea I wanted to keep it so no one has to watch me open it" she nods again "Reasonable" I nod as Sally comes over "Where'd Luke go he should be here for his Baby's baby shower" "Well-" I explain it to her and she claps "Yayy!! You better tell your father so that he can interrogate the other one" she glances over at Percy" I nod and head into the kitchen where my dad is making food "Hey pumpkin what's up?" "So, there was a mix up at the hospital and they told me Percy was the father" he looks at me then at Percy who's talking with Jason and Leo in the other room, he sighs "Alright, but I'm gonna talk with him" I nod "I know" he nods "Now go have fun Ill be out in a second and we can open gifts, the ones for your baby shower are in the car so yea" I nod "Okay I'll ttyl" Yep" I walk out and talk with everyone and have fun, open presents, etc.

I can't sleep so I untangle myself from Percy and go over to my dresser grabbing the present Luke gave me, I quietly open it to reveal a small box, I open the box and cover my mouth, Its a ring with a note, I read the note "I know what your thinking, no I'm not proposing to you, I thought if we were gonna co-parent, It might be reasonable to get you something of sentimental value, so yes here is that "promise ring" I wanted to get you when we were younger, TTyl Annie, glad your talking to me after what I did" I take out the ring 

It looks amazing, but I can't except this, not if me and him aren't Co-Parenting, cause we aren't anymore, I sigh putting it back in its box and climbing back in bed with Percy slowly falling asleep.
