Two Sides Of Tova.

   Sorry for taking time to clear out my writer's block but I'm back anyway so here's the chapter you've all been waiting for.

      We're halfway through when I glanced to see his face. I haven't really been concentrating on the movie but have been distracted by his presence beside me. Sometimes I could feel his body heat close to me.

  I turned and examined his face noticing the small freckles below his eyes resembling light dust, my gaze went below to look at his plum lips, I immediately began to chew my lower lip thinking about its feel against mine. I looked up and found his eyes on mine with a deep, dazed expression.

Instinctively, I turned away from him embarrassed that he caught me red handed staring at him. It was at this point that I felt that the ground should open up and swallow me. My cheeks were reddened much that I could feel the heat radiating from them.

I flinched as soon as I felt something crawl on my hand only to look and saw Jack's hand tangled in mine. I looked up and saw him staring and smiling at me. Timidly I smiled back and ducked my head so that he wouldn't see my reddened cheeks but instead his hand held my face, his thumbs skimmed my cheeks slowly and coaxed me to look up to him as he slowly began to lean in to kiss me.

'This is it!! My first kiss!!!'. I thought.

I closed my eyes to relish in the joy of my first real kiss. Just as his lips brushed mine was when the doorbell rang breaking us apart.

Ding! Dong!!

I jumped up from my seat causing my forehead to collide with Jack's nose by mistake.

"Oww". We both cried out as I clutched forehead and he held his nose in pain. At the background I heard Ara-ñat laughing at both our misfortunes.

   I walked to the door and opened it to see Derek, my sister's on and off boyfriend standing there. I noticed that it was dusk already.

"My sister isn't around you can check back later". I said not giving him the chance to speak.

  He opened and shut his mouth then he opened it and spoke,
"I know I called her before I hour here and she said that she is on her way, may I come in?". He asked unsurely.

    I peered into the room uncertain if whether to let him in.

"Sure". I replied and let out a shaky breath and opened the door wider to let him in. He walked into the living room and was surprised to see Jack there.

"Hi, good evening". Jack said extending his hand out for a shake.

  "Nice to meet you too". Derek replied. " I've never seen any of Tova's friends before, its really great to meet you I'm her sister's boyfriend". He introduced just in time for Dora to come in to see everyone.

She smiled and walked up to Derek and gave him a peck before turning to look at Jack and I. Her face broke into a huge grin as soon as she saw Jack. She walked up to him and began to study his face. He looked back to see me his expression confusedly scared. He's probably thinking  

'Tova what's happening?!?!'.

She extended her hand as Jack shook it.

"Hi I'm Dora, Tee's sister. You must be Jack right?".

"Yeah I am, nice to meet you". He answered warily.

"Yeah Tova talks about you all the time". She said facing me with a mischievous grin on her face.

'Dammit, this is revenge for her first date with Derek'.

  I remembered when she started going out with Derek ,how I exposed her inner most desires about him.

"Really?". He smiled and looked at me pleased like as if he'd just won a huge trophy.

I bit my lip to hide my smile and ducked my head to hide the blush on my cheeks.

  I looked up smiling and stared at him timidly while biting my lower lip. His gaze darted down to my lips before taking a huge breath in licking his slightly chapped lips before looking squarely into my eyes both of us oblivious to Derek and Dora.

  All of a sudden we heard a strangled cough breaking us from our lust induced gaze.  Both Derek and Dora looked so uncomfortable from our stare off so much that Derek's smile looked forced and crooked.

"Okay, Jack would you like to stay for dinner". Dora asked all of a sudden breaking the awkward silence.

"I don't know let me call home and ask". He replied taking out his phone and leaving the room. As soon as he left, Dora turned to me with an ear to ear grin on her face and she walked up to me faster than Usain Bolt.

She squeed so loudly that it almost blew my eardrums.

"OMG!!! You like like him Tee, don't you?". she asked excitedly jumping up and down like as if she was having a sugar rush.

I just stared at her knowing that if I said something she wouldn't leave me alone.

She frowned her face and walked away from me. Just then Jack came in.

"My mom said that I could stay for dinner only if Tova eats at our house tomorrow night so that she can get to know her better". He said apprehensively.

"Sure she can go to your house tomorrow night". Dora concluded cheerfully and left for the kitchen.

I gritted my teeth so much that my mouth began to hurt and forced a smile to Jack. Its not like I don't want to go to Jack's house ,its just that I'm ready to embarrass myself in front of his family. again.
