       I got home and found that Dora wasn't back yet,I quietly went upstairs to my room and immediately fell flat on my bed.

  Ara-ñat came out from where she was and lie down next to me.

  "So did anything interesting transpired between the both of you?". She asked with a smug expression on her face.

    I looked at her and sighed dejectedly and shook my head, Jack and I were supposed to hang out alone and together today.

Her grin dropped, she sat up and looked at me curiously.

"His mother and siblings came back and besides Dora isn't aware that I left without her knowledge". I said disappointedly.

    Just then a thought crossed my mind and curiosity washed over me and I was unsure if I should ask Ara-ñat a question such as this.

   "You know I can feel your hesitation, whatever you feel I would do shipping be a problem. Go ahead and ask your question". She said reassuringly calm.

  I took in a deep breath to calm myself as I started to talk,
   "You once that in your former life that you were meant to guard a temple, that is a sort of treasure, what do you mean by that?". i asked.

    Ara-ñat took her gaze away from me and stared into space as if she was trying to recall her past life.

   "The treasure that is linked to the temple has both good use and bad uses especially. Before I was born, it was narrated in the tablets that my people were suffering and dying due to plague and disasters. My people prayed to Buddha and he answered us, we built the temple in honour of his name but it came with a price". She said before she sighed loudly.

  Then she continued,
"A monk was chosen at first, his name was Wu Feng. The treasure is that every year at a certain day Buddha grants us a wish and we use it for the benefit of my people. No one knew this except Wu Feng and certain appointed guards and monks as well as some priests and guru. But an outsider learnt about the wish and wanted to use out for his personal benefits". She paused to scan the surroundings before she muttered.

  "Your sister is back".

I was so engrossed in Ara-ñat's history that I forgot to read and do my homework.

   Just then,I heard Dora yelled for me. 

"Tova! ".

"Yeah!!".

"I'm home!!".

"Okay I'm coming down!!".

     I bounced out of bed and raced downstairs to greet Dora. l  into the living room and sat on the chair to have a convo with her.

"Hey how was work?". I asked casually. "And Derek?". I added with a smug expression with my brows raised up and down repeatedly in amusement.

  I looked up and saw her standing in an akimbo with a serious expression on her face with a brow lifted up as if saying 'really'?!.

  I gave her a fake smile and began to unload the goods that she brought home and putting them where they belong.

"So how was your first day back in school?". She asked.

   Without looking up I answered,
"It was okay and also we had a new student, his name is Jack Gillies. He's great and he's nice. He also doesn't live far from here". I spilled out excitedly.

  Dora stopped what she was doing and immediately turned and glared at me with a stunned expression.

  "TOVA ROCHELLE TRAVIS!!! On the first day of school you already have a boyfriend and you followed him to his house?!?! ". She yelled out. " I mean you're still young even though I'm stoked that you got some attention I mean its sudden and all and don't go losing your virginity just like that". She exasperated in a rushed out tone.

  I dropped what I was doing and faced her with an annoyed expression on my face.

"DORA!!".  I yelled out. "He's not my boyfriend and I only went to his house because of homework.". I lied slightly. "And besides I don't know him that well, see first meet at the mall then he appeared at school its just a coincidence".

  She exhaled slowly in relief then she narrowed her eyes at me before she began to bombard me with questions.

"What is he like? Where is he from? Is he hot? Who is he?". She rushed out.

  I shushed her and thought for a moment if she could be bipolar.

"Dora calm down, well his name is Jack like I already told you and we have most classes together in school. We met at the mall when he returned your credit card back to me". I said easily before realizing my mistake of doing so.

"MY CREDIT CARD, WHAT?!". She said loudly.

  I continue after I shut her up.
"Well anyway we shopped together for a while before we met at school to today, that's it". I concluded.

She sighed
"Just take your time and be patient. Don't rush into anything okay?". She said seriously and I nodded.

"Is he hot?". She asked interestedly.

  And with that my cheeks became reddened for a long time.
