Ten

Bella's pov

As I was walking further and further into their territory, I heard a car engine behind me roar, and I could somehow feel Julian speeding away. I was a little scared, but I knew I had to talk to Ethan.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard multiple growls around me and giant brown wolves came out from the woods and circled me, growling. I shivered, but took a deep breath and with all the courage I could muster said "I mean no harm. I promise. I'm human. I need to see your alpha."

As I said that two wolves changed into two very tall and intimidating males in front of my eyes. Very naked males. I squealed and covered my eyes with my hands, and I heard a deep chuckle in front of me. "You can look now."

I slowly uncovered my eyes to see them both in shorts and their upper body was uncovered and may I say, they were very well built.

"Done staring?" The one in front of me said and I could feel my cheeks become red. "She's adorable. Can we keep her?" The one behind him eagerly asked and the other one slapped the back of his head. "Shut the fuck up. You're scaring her."

I laughed lightly at them but shivered again as a gush of wind passed by me. "Here. Take this. You'll be warmer." Grey eyes smiled lightly and handed me a huge hoodie. I put it on and thanked him, to which he smiled.

I noticed the other wolves went away and it was just me with the two guys. Grey eyes motioned me to follow them so I did. "So what's your name?" Grey eyes asked me as I was walking in between the two of them. "Bella." I answered and brown eyes awed.

"I like your name cupcake." He said pinching my nose. "Im Nathaniel or Nate, and this douche right here is Jax."

"So what do you need to see our Alpha for?" Jax asked and then my nerves kicked in. "Oh erm, can we talk about that after I talk to him?" I asked and they both nodded "Of course."

As we were nearing the pack house, there was a voice behind us "Who is she?" It was deep and stern and when I turned around I saw another boy their age dressed in only a pair of grey sweats and a loose dark grey shirt.

"She needs to see our Alpha for some business." Jax said and they both stood in front of me in a protective stance. "She's a rogue. The rules are that all the rogues get taken away to the dungeons." Jax and Nate both growled at him and he flinched a little but covered it up.

More men appeared and the guy came to me and held my arms pushing my back against his front while the other men held Jax and Nate. I was frozen and too scared to speak.

Suddenly I heard a ground shaking, animalistic growl "Get your filthy hands off her. She's mine!" I recognized the voice as Ethan's and when I looked up I saw him walking furiously towards me and the man that still didn't let me go.

I think he tightened his hold on my arms out of fear and I winced. I think because of their sensitive hearing they all heard it and Ethan's eyes snapped to my arms while he stopped walking.

He let out another ground shaking growl as his eyes turned black. "I told you to let go of her." He growled again and in a flash the man was off me and thrown to the nearest wall. "Take him to the dungeons. I'll deal with him later."

He then looked at me and I looked back at him and it was like the time stopped. It was just him and I until someone cleared their throat. "Alpha. We didn't know she was your mate but we realized she means no harm and we started walking with her to your office because she said she has to talk to you."

Jax started, him and Nate both standing in front of Ethan and I with their heads bowed. "And then Jim came, telling us to take her to the dungeon but I guess our instincts were to protect our Luna and we didn't let him." Nate finished for him.

Ethan nodded at them "Good job. You will grow up to be great warriors." He looked at them proudly and they smiled pride rolling off them in waves.

"Okay everyone can go back to what they were doing!" Ethan yelled and everyone left without a word. Now it was just him and I.
