"That's not all." Emily spoke once I cried my heart out. "What?"

"A werewolf shifts at 15, but a hybrid shifts at 17, if they are able to. This means that if your mom is a werewolf and your dad is human, you will shift on your seventeenth birthday, in rare cases. Because if your father is human, you will most likely be human too. These cases are rare so it doesn't happen a lot.

Now, when your mother is human and your father is a werewolf, if you are a male it's an 83% chance that you'll be a werewolf since guys get most of their dad's genes.

If you are a girl tho, it's a fifty-fifty chance. So now we wait until your birthday, which is in a month and see if you are a werewolf or not."

My whole world stopped. "So, what you are saying is, that I could turn out to be a werewolf?" I've never seen one in person, I'm not sure I wanna be one.

"Don't worry, that's why I'm here. My dad sent me off to here. I got expelled from my last school so they transferred me here." She grinned. I shook my head. Only she could be calm at a situation like this.

"So you did turn out to be a werewolf. Did it hurt?" I asked hesitantly. She shrugged. "Yeah. Every first shift hurts, but it gets easier every time. And don't worry, I'll tell you everything you need to know when the time comes."

"Okay. Just one more question." She rolled her eyes. "Why didn't Ethan tell me this?" I asked hesitantly. "He didn't know. Since you are a human now, he couldn't tell. And he didn't know about your mom." She explained.

"By the way, what happened to your arm?" I made a face. "Jake scared me while I was sleeping and I fell off the bed." I didn't even get to explain fully, she was laughing her ass off on the floor already.

"He's the same as you." I muttered. "But don't worry. Ethan broke a couple of bones. He said it won't heal for a day or two." I said laughing.

"Yeah. We are the same. As a child I always thought he would turn out to be my mate." Julian growled. He went to say something but she interrupted him.

"Wait. Did you say a day or two?! Only an Alpha can bring that much damage!" Her eyes widened at the realization. "You're mated to an Alpha!" She screeched.

"Um. Emily. You are too." She abruptly stopped her tantrum and stood in place. After a few seconds I pushed her making her start breathing again.

She looked at Julian. "You didn't tell me you're an Alpha." She glared accusingly. He shrugged "I didn't think it mattered."

She shook her head. "Whatever. Now. I want to meet your mate." She looked serious.
