"So um, how will this work? I mean now that we're mates." Ethan and Bella were sitting in the grass and she was looking down, while he was looking at her.

"I don't know." He mumbled still mesmerized by her beauty. He furrowed his eyebrows, snapping out of his trance. "Wait. How are you so cool with all of this, werewolf shit?" Ethan tried to ask the question, but didn't know how to express himself making Bella laugh.

"I don't know. I really don't." Bella started. "I just feel like I'm not that surprised, but at the same time I am." She said making a face.

Ethan chuckled "What a nice explanation." She blushed and looked at the grass again as she felt his intense gaze on her.

"My dad is coming back in a few days." She started speaking again not taking her gaze off the ground. He hummed "So should we just tell him that we're dating for now?" He asked and her eyes snapped up to his.

"But... we're not dating." She explained to him slowly. He looked at her, his sea blue eyes becoming darker. "What did you just say?" He growled.

"We're not dating." She stated again, this time louder. He let out an animalistic growl and in a second she was pushed down on the grass with him on top of her, holding her hands above her head with one hand, and with the other he was holding his weight on.

"I do not care about your little crush on Julian. You. Are. Mine. Clear?" He asked and she nodded, a little freaked out by his outburst.

"Wait, no!" She said after he let go of her and sat next to her again. "This has nothing to do with Julian. What I meant was, you never asked me." She said with a blush.
