"Bloody hell that's cold!" Ashley yelped, tearing the bandana away from her eyes. She looked around, sighing when she saw where she was. "You know I can't ice-skate, right?" She asked, using Reese's outstretched hand to aid her to her feet.

"I do now," he said with a smirk. He went to let go of her hand, but she wouldn't allow him.

"If I fall, I'm taking you down with me," she said, answering his puzzled look. He gave a light chuckle, before beginning to skate, dragging her behind him.

"Just copy what I do," Ashley nodded and went to move her foot. She ended up slipping, landing on her back, she giggled at Reese, who had landed next to her on is rear end. "We could be here a while," Reese sighed.

"I give up," Ashley said from where she lay on the ice. They had been at it for an hour now, and Ashley had had enough.

"Oh c'mon, we're so close," he said, squatting next to her. Her stomach let out a loud growl.

"Both my mouth and stomach say no," She said, crossing her arms and giving him a stern look.

"Fine," he held out his hand and helped her to her feet. He pulled her out of the rink and left her sitting down, walking away to go get their shoes. She pulled off the ice skates and wriggled her toes. Reese came back and handed her her shoes, sitting down and slipping on his own.

"Where to now?" Ashley asked, appreciating the light weight of her converses.

"I have a few ideas," he said, giving Ashley a wink.

"Okay," she dragged out. "But I'm not putting that bandana back on," she added.

"Deal."

They walked out of the building, after handing in their skates. Ashley climbed in the passenger seat, buckling his seatbelt. Reese climbed in next to her and started up the engine. Ashley let out a sigh as Reese drove. Even though she had spent most of it on the floor, she had actually had fun ice-skating, or ice-slipping. She would never say it out loud but she was starting to feel something towards Reese, not necessarily love, more like friendship. Who was she kidding? She liked him. A lot. She turned to look at Reese, what was she to him? A challenge?

"What am I to you?" Ashley blurted out, mentally scolding herself. Reese gave her a confused look.

"You're my mate," he said, refocusing back on the road.

"I mean, I mean in human terms, what am I to you?" Reese sighed but didn't say anything. Ashley looked down at her sweaty palms, blinking back the tears that threatened to spill over. She really was just a challenge to him.

"We're here," he said a few minutes later, parking the car. Ashley nodded and pushed all the bad thoughts away, she would deal with them later. She climbed out of the car and laid her eyes upon the Bowling Alley that they had parked in front of. Reese led her inside and went to the desk, buying two games and getting the shoes. "You go put these on and I'll be right over," he said, Ashley nodded and walked over to their lane, changing her shoes. She looked up at the screen, smiling weakly. Reese had put her name as 'Princess' she didn't know why, but it made her heart swell. He came back, holding two iced drinks and a plate of steaming pizza. He placed it all down on the seat and smiled down at her.

"It's your turn," she said, avoiding his gaze. He nodded and slipped on his shoes, picking up a bowling ball. He swung his arm back and then forward, releasing the urethane ball. It rolled down the lane, swerving left as it neared the pins. Seven pins tumbled over, and Reese gave Ashley a cocky smirk, picking up another ball. This was going to be fun.

"Yass," Ashley yelled, throwing her hands up in the air, her injured hand throbbing ever so slightly. Reese frowned, looking up at their scores.

"You only beat me by a couple of points," he pouted, crossing his arms.
