Arriving at the mall, you wouldn't guess who won. Of course I did, no doubt. It was no surprise that Madison was second, so Bliss was buying us lunch in McDonalds.
I wanted Applebee's but Blaze and Madison wanted McDonald's. I said no to Madison but she turned Blaze on me for McDonalds and I couldn't object. He literally bribed me with kisses for me to change my mind.
Which was unfair since he was my boyfriend and should be taking my side. I think I liked it better when they were at each other throats.
Since Christmas was a few days away, we decided to split up and go Christmas shopping and meet up back at McDonalds in an hour.
I had been to three stores so far, an bought a gift for KB, Tyreek, Bliss and Madi. I bought gifts for my other inner gang weeks back so their the least.
I'm currently in my favorite store looking for something for Blaze. I knows he's the sporty type, but sports equipments would be obvious. I sighed, walking out of the store after buy a Navy Blue tie for dad.
Walking past store after store, nothing popping out to me. Nothing new, nothing that says I love you. Who know shopping for Blaze is hard and he told me not to get him anything, but I want to. I want to get something that'll help him remember our times together.
Walking past a photo store, I stopped in my tracks. Spotting a red and white photo album with photos of unknown couples at the front and a lock and key at the side. I smile. Entering the shop I made my way to the front desk.
"Hello miss how may I help you" the lady at the front desk smiles.
"Am, hi, how much for the album" I ask, pointing at the album.
"Five dollars, would you like one" I nod. She left and came back with the album. I paid for it and a gift book, then left.
Making my way towards McDonalds typing away on my phone, I bumped into someone, dropping my phone.
"Sorry" I said, reaching to grab my phone but the person beat me to it, handing it to me and apologized.
"it's okay, I was the one not looking where I was going" somehow the voice sounds familiar, looking up at the person, I froze. I was greeted by a man with raven black hair and green eyes. Dressed in a Navy blue office suit. Holy shit!!!!!
Just kill me now.
These days are just filled with my past ghosts. First Blaze now him. What is going on.
Snatching my phone away, I turned on my heels and speed walked away, hoping he doesn't follow. Glancing over my shoulder, I saw him still standing there glaring at me with clutched fists.
Please let this dream end. Bumping into someone, I regained my composure and continue walking.
Jogging towards McDonalds I was relieved when I saw Blaze and KB standing at the door. Once they spot me, they gave me a confused looked.
"What's wrong cupcake, you look tense" Blaze says once I neared. I shook my head rapidly and gulped.
"Come on Val what's up" KB ask, worry laced in his voice resting his hand on my shoulder.
I know if I tell them they'd do something stupid and I can't have my favorite boys being too protective of me. I need my space, if I tell them I'll be on watch twenty-four seven. But if I don't he wouldn't go away, he'll try it again and knowing my dad he'll give in this time around.
"Nothing, I'm fine just hungry" I lied, I know they don't believe me, they exchanged looks before they shrugged and lead me inside. Looking over my shoulder I sighed when I saw that he was gone.
This day is taking a turn for the worse. An if I'm not careful I might lose this game.
Taking my seat, I quickly dug into my happy meal.
"What's up Val" Madi ask, munching on her fries. I shook my head, feeling a hand on my shoulder I look to see Bliss starring at me.
"Are you okay" she ask, tilting her head.
"I'm fine" I shrug, finishing my happy meal. Realizing I didn't want to talk about it they sighed, turning back to their meal.
Once we were finished, we made our way out. Walking back to the car, my eyes looking everywhere to make sure he was gone. Once in the car, Blaze looks over at me, intertwining our fingers.
"Is there something you want to tell me, about why your so tense" he ask.
"I'm fine" I said, barely above a whisper.
"Don't lie to me cupcake" he sighs, driving off.
"I'm fine B, it's nothing to worry about. Yet" I said, mumbling the last part.
"I hate when you lie to me, but I'm not forcing you. Just promise you'll tell me soon, I hate seeing you so tense" he sighs, squeezing my hand reassuringly.
"I promise" I smile, this is one thing I love about him. He never forces me to do anything, no matter what.
Pulling up in my driveway, I thanked Blaze for the ride, giving him one last kiss. I made my way towards my front door, watching as he pulled out of driveway and Madison exit KB's car.
Entering the house, I was pulled into a bone crushing hug. What the hell. I struggled a bit to get free but to no avail. After crushing the shit out of me, the person finally let go. Soon I was face to face with my bone crasher. My face lit up in excitement. His platinum blonde hair and blue eyes resembling mine.
"Chad" I squeal, wrapping my arms around his torso pulling him in for a hug. Seeing him made me wonder about the other one.
"Where's Tad" I ask, looking up at Chad.
"In the fridge" he grins. Releasing him, I ran towards the kitchen jumping on the back of the male figure stooping in front the fridge.
"Hey baby" he chuckles, standing up with me still on his back.
"Look who I found" Chad chuckles, entering the kitchen with Madison hooked to his waist.
