Gathering the Troops

Around two weeks after the incident at Vale Central and Jade's escape into the wilderness of Remnant, things had kinda calmed down around the whole serious issues. The second semester at Beacon had begun and of course, RWBY and JNPR entered a food fight the day before everything began. Your team was thrown into the mixture as well, dividing it down the middle. You and Gure joined Team RWBY while Silver and Burly joined JNPR.

After that whole debacle, you all joined one another in the library to read up and join up one another for board games and studying for upcoming classes. However, Blake still seemed...off. She would leave questions unanswered, not pay many people attention and soon, even began to ignore you too. Soon enough, you grew a bit impatient with Blake and decided to confront her about the issues she's been having. After class one day, you were in the row behind Team RWBY in Professor Port's room.

Once the bell rung, you were about to ask Blake something but she left faster than anyone else on her team with the exception of Weiss. You groaned in annoyance as your shoulder felt extra weight. You looked down and saw Gure on your shoulder.

Gure: You good?

(Y/N): Not really.

Gure: You wanna talk about it?

(Y/N): Not right now. But I have a plan.

Gure: We want in!

(Y/N): We?

You turn around and see your teammates standing there.

(Y/N): You guys wont leave me alone until I talk to Blake and we figure out our problems so that we she and I can lead successful and happy lives will you?

Silver: Well, not that specific, but that's basically the gist of it, yeah.

(Y/N): Welp, let's get this thing over with then. Come on.

With that, you and your teammates ran out of the classroom and towards the dorms. Once there, the four of you began scaling the building, climbing up towards the RWBY dorm room. Upon arriving at the window and peered in.

Ruby: (From her position sitting on the hanging bed) Alright, guys, today's the day! The investigation begins!

Happily leaps off her mattress and onto the floor, arms raised excitedly. She almost lands on Weiss, who is on the bottom bunk.

Weiss: (sarcastically) I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously.

Yang: Hey, we've got a plan! That's... moderately serious.

Ruby: Right! (looks around at her teammates) Everyone remember their roles?

Weiss stands up as the camera quickly shifts left to each member who state their objective.

Weiss: You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem.

Blake: The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning.

Yang: I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard...

Ruby: (the camera dashing back to the leader) Great! We'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we found. (pumping her fist) Let's do this!

(Y/N): (off-screen) Yeah!

Blake: (Y/N)!

Yang: How did you even get up here?!

(Y/N): I have my ways.
