Jose.

I saw LaLa walking up to Oscar as he worked on his impala, LaLa was the homie but I didn't like how she was always trying to push up on Oscar.

He went through hell with Tyla, I was there for him.
He's like family to me.
I just want him to be happy.

Him and Tyla weren't happy together.
Every time they fought he'd get it in with Lala
It was just sex
But she thought it was more.

Leilani is good for him, she's the kinda girl he needs, he don't need no fuckin chola.

I listened as she dissed Leilani and his relationship.
I felt like he was oblivious to everything she was doing.

After I talked to Oscar, I felt like I needed to push the issue.

LaLa was in Oscars kitchen getting a soda.
"Sup Fool." I said leaning on the counter.

"Hey." She said as she sipped her soda.
"Wassup with what you were saying to Oscar?" I asked.

She smiled. "I'm just trying to help him not catch a case." She shrugged.

"don't no one ever catch an age case in free ridge, she's 17 he's 20." I defended.

"Oscar got two strikes already." She said. "He don't need another one."

"He won't because he only one who's got an issue is you." I snapped. "He's taken."

LaLa rolled her eyes.
I moved closer to her cornering her into the wall.

"You the homie, I got love for you. But if you do anything to fuck up how happy Oscar is, ima break your goddamn neck." I said.

"Don't fucking threaten me José." She said getting in my face.

"It's a promise, puta." I said.

"Find a man who don't got a girl and stop chasing spooky." I said looking her up and down.

I walked out of the kitchen and Tito looked at me and smiled. "You tell her." He said.

"I'm just looking out, Oscars happy man." I said.

"Yeah, you're right I've never seen him smile so much this fool was singing while fixing his car." Tito said.

"This some real Disney shit." Victor said as he hit his blunt.
